Super quick delivery
Super quick delivery of the stove shield. It fits easily to a gas canister and seems to work at reducing (not eliminating) the effects of the wind on the flame. So far, it seems as if my gas consumption is lower as a result (I measured the weight of the gas canister). Adds little to the weight of my backpack by comparison to the weight of extra gas, so I'm taking it.

Great well made bit of kit once you know how to use it👍
Designed to attach to outer gas can ring on inlet valve, spring loaded design, you pull back the wind guard and open it up, then allow to close(has spring steel in joint) so its clamped beneath the gas ring inlet ring valve...superb quality and design, will last a life time too!Although restrictive for fry pans as gas stove is lower than wind guard, Ive found just laying fry pan on top of wind guard works perfectly too! Great robust bit of kit, well worth having in your kit👍

Sturdy,well made piece of kit
A good quality piece of kit........slightly heavy if you are going ultralight but I feel it's a good/needed piece of kit so worth the extra carry weight.Packs down relatively small as it wraps around cook system so doesnt take up much space at all.

Half sheld-fits well- limits types of pan used.
Fits well ..see picture ..provide some wind shield..good build quality. Works with the MSR pocket rocket mini stove (narrow pot only). The main issue is that the windshield significantly limits the use of any pot/kettle that has a wider diameter than 20-21cm as the pot can no longer stand on the stove inside the sheld..this limits the practical use as if the stove sits above the shield than the wind protection is reduced. I suspect that is is not practical for many cannister stoves / pan and kettle set ups. Hence the 3 stars.. only works with one of my three set ups..Pots and kettle have a larger diameter..

Been looking at getting one of these for awhile and I don't know why I didn't lesson learnt and it sure does save on the gas.

I have a few stoves but usually my go-to stove is my MSR Pocket Rocket especially if im trying to save some grams haha.Been out and tested this wind protector and it performed pretty good! As long as you have it facing in the direction of on coming wind which is obvious. Would recommend.
