Would be 5 stars but the velcro is weak and there's no storage pocket for all the pieces that dont stay in place with travel and "kid" handling.

I’m really enjoying watching this 19 month old child play with age appropriate toys. Especially the ones that teach. This sweet child was playing with wooden trucks and block shapes when I gave him this fun orange dinosaur shaped cloth book. There were distractions all around, but he immediately stopped what he was doing to slowly turn every page and look at the colors and shapes and numbers. Because of the distractions, there was no chance to sit with him right away and learn about the zipper or tying a shoe or matching numbers and fruit…but then when Mommy and Daddy were able to have focused play with him. It was so rewarding when matches were made! I just know that even at 19 months old, he’s very alert and he’ll learn from this because he’s already matching wood blocks and shapes.There is one issue that is significant. The Velcro is very weak and does not stick very well. This the reason for. 4 star rating. After only an hour of play, the velcro shape do-not-stick.This will be the next step of his fun learning.This is going to be a very fun activity with so many different choices in one book. It’s also so wonderful for travel. The designers covered all the bases with this. Hours of fun and learning to come— after the velcro is replaced

This busy board/book has quickly become a travel companion for our toddlers. It offers a variety of moving parts, puzzles, and interlocking pieces that keep little ones occupied and engaged. Additionally, the book is structured in a way that encourages the use of imagination and learning. All of these features are packed into a lightweight, small dino-shaped unit, which appeals to my little ones and makes the toy easy to pack up and haul anywhere we are headed.So far, we've only encountered some minor issues with this toy. The first is the fact that some of the included pieces are loose and unattached to the book. This means it is easy for pieces to fall out and get lost, which can hinder the longevity of the toy. Additionally, the felt material used for parts of the product can get very dirty in a hurry, particularly when around food or being transported from one location to another. Once dirty, the material can be a challenge to clean, but with some time and effort it can be scrubbed clean and looking like new.Long story short - This is a really nice product, but it has pieces that are easy to lose and it can attract dirt. As a result, it earns 4/5 stars, overall!

I am a little disappointed that all of the felt pieces on both sides of the cover are not sewn down. The body of the dinosaur on each side is the only felt that is sewn down. All the other small pieces are just glued. I’m sure in time and with repeated usage these small pieces of felt will come loose and fall off. The felt pieces are quite thick and seem good quality. I like that this activity piece is self contained and that it has a Velcro piece to secure it shut. There is also a carrying strap that connects to it so little ones can carry it around. It would have been nice to have a pocket sewn inside to store all the little felt activity pieces in so they wouldn’t fall out. I think this activity board will keep my 3 year old granddaughter occupied for quite a while when she comes to visit. My only issues really is the glued on pieces.

The material is nice. Lots of options for playing and learning. Some of the pieces done seem to stay in well, I think we’ve lost some already after a couple months even. These seem to be a bit difficult to keep clean too—bit of a bummer on that. I probably wouldn’t get this one again just from the shortfalls.

My kids love the endless activities this provides. Helps their imaginations. Cutouts are great and easy to play with. One thing is that it doesn’t come with a bag and the parts tend to fall out which cause a mess that’s why 4 stars. Over all it is fun and the kids enjoy it.

My 3 years and 10 month old grandson, played with this for a while then moved on to play doh. He lost interest quickly. Its a cute toy, but my daughter tells me it is not as unbreakable as she would like. Hence the 4 1/2 rating. I would also cut off the carrying belt. Maybe its just me. I don’t like belts around young children. This an honest opinion, according to my daughter and her in house toddler toy tester. - Update - The next day he picked it up and played a bit longer.

Okay this is totally adorable! The Dino shape is so unique and we love all the fun things to do in it!My biggest beef is that it isn’t contained. It needs a bag around it so that you don’t lose pieces. That being said the Velcro is very high quality and we haven’t lost one yet. But Mom anxiety is high with it!
