Works well, I have an umbilical hernia which has become incarcerated multiple times. Since using this during activities it has stayed in place. I have machine washed it on delicates and it held up ok with just some very minor pilling, which is great since I have been using it during sweaty workouts. It doesn't rub while biking and walking which I appreciate.

The product itself is well made and most likely effective for other hernia types but did not work for my right spigelian hernia located at the lower right side of my abdomen just below the belt line. I returned the item.

There were supposed to be 2 compression pads, but none were included. Tried to wear it on bare skin, but some parts of it poke & irritate the skin. So I wear it over a t-shirt. Otherwise, good support & helps me a lot.

This belt helped me greatly, I do my sit up’s every day. I use to have a huge bulge pop out with every sit up. This belt has allowed me to work out without surgery! Mine came with two pads that hold the budge in and I use them both.I usually keep the belt on for the entire upper body weights dumbbell workout too. Lowering my self to the bench and getting back up weights in hand would probably make the hernia pop out, but this belt helps to hold it in.
