For the beard, it is only partially suitable, depending on the proportion of gray, it is necessary to first pre-dye the hair with a reddish color and in a second step to apply the black / dark brown color. Reformhaus Bagheri **Q: Can it be used on afro hair ?** A: Yes **Q: How long do you keep it on each time** A: Around 8 hours I read somewhere. My husband had it on for 2 hours on his beard (for the greys) but it only looked ginger, no where near black. You need a lot of patience for this. **Q: I have very black Indian hair but a clump of greys at the front. Will the Black henna turn my greys orange?** A: I have only used firey red and mahogany on my greying hair which was originally brown, so my hair does look orange. However, using the black henna may result in a different outcome. I would advise testing a sample of grey hair before dying a whole head of hair. Good luck! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ LOVELY PRODUCT *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 August 2018* lovely product, but does not cover grey hairs, Would buy this again ### ⭐ Worst Product, Waste of Money, Avoid! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 January 2018* Awful product do not buy!! This did not work on my hair at all. Have used henna products countless times over the years it did not even give it a nice shine! Have one or two greys which I coated the product with and left it on for almost fives hours and the product did nothing at all! Not sure what this is but it sure is not Henna colour, I highly doubt there is any henna in this product at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Only mild effect *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 12 September 2020* Very hard to squeeze the bottle, smells very nice and did enhance the color a bit(after 6 hours of keeping it on) , not strong enough to cover gray hair. Had to use conditioner after rinsing. ## Frequently Bought Together - Henne Color Black Henna Hair Colouring Cream 90 ml - Henne Color NJD-LHBW3 Brown Henna Hair Colouring Cream 90 ml - Henne Color Auburn Henna Hair Colouring Cream 90 ml --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/51183019-henne-color-black-henna-hair-colouring-cream-90-ml](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/51183019-henne-color-black-henna-hair-colouring-cream-90-ml) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
