I Am No Longer Anemic
I use this product to boost my iron level in my blood. It has been a godsend! I put a teaspoon of powder in my daily drink and I’ve not had low iron levels for 3 years now, and no side effects. I’m borderline anemic, I have a rare blood type and I am a frequent blood donor. At times, my iron level has not been high enough for me to donate, and it has been advised that I should take iron supplements. As a retired pharmacy tech, I know that iron supplements have all kinds of side effects and work about as well as chewing on a rusty nail. The Mulberry Tree has the highest levels of iron out of any plant. The highest levels are in the leaves and bark. This is made from the leaves.

Tastes great
I really like it. Put a few teaspoons of it to warm milk and mix with little bit of honey makes your breakfast way better.

Mix this w/other seasoning and sauces.
Very happy I found this product. As others have noted, the taste is actually quite pleasant, if you use it correctly. What works best for me is to mix it with preferably thick, strong-flavored sauces (tomato sauces, mustards, cheese/vegan cheese sauces, soy/coconut aminos) or dry seasonings (eg furikake with nori and sesame). Condiments that have umami flavored components seem to work the best. The condiments don't just mask the natto taste, this natto powder actually improves and amplifies the flavor. It's especially great over rice. I think if you use a little bit with every meal, it will equal to a medicinal daily dose, which I believe is 1 - 2 tsp a day. If you rely on this product or are thinking about getting it, and are curious about real natto.... I would recommend you curb your curiousity and stay away, because it might make using this difficult to use by association. The "problem" with natto, unless you grew up with it, is not so much the flavor, but that it's accompanied by a wet dish rag smell, and a very challenging texture. If you start to associate the flavor of this product with real natto, you might have a harder time using this. Otherwise it's kind of amazing and delicious. Will update if I notice specific health effects.

Great alternative to 'stinky' fresh natto
I have Peripheral Artery Disease and take this daily for two reasons: The nattokinase dissolves fibrin (blood clots) and the Vitamin K2 channels the blood calcium away from depositing in the arteries, and directs it to the bones where it is needed. My doctor recommend a daily baby aspirin to prevent blood clots, but this is a much healthier and more natural way to prevent blood clots. I dissolve one level teaspon in a small amount of V8 juice, along with a half teaspoon of fermented garlic extract (good for the heart, blood pressure and arteries). Stir it up and drink it down in a few swallows. I can't say it tastes great, but it's not that bad and I've gotten used to it so I don't mind the taste a bit.

Not good powder
I previously bought Mulberry leaf powder from another brand and when I finished it, I decided to try this brand. This is extremely different in color compared to the other brand I had tried and also does not mix well at all, stays separated and requires constant stirring and leaves a very grainy feel in your mouth. Flavor is also not good. Would return if I could, and would not recommend

Orange clumps when water is added
I’ve purchased this item 4 times. The 4th time I purchased it, it looked lighter and when I added my water I seen orange clumps in it. Moisture got into the package. Not sure who’s to blame. But I had to throw it away, so it’s like $24.00 gone down the toilet. If I’m gonna take chances on getting a good power every time I spend that money, I might as well find a more affordable powder. Their power is good but I can’t get my money back or a replacement which sucks.

Hit or miss
I bought this 8 times from Amazon and twice I had to return it. I have been using Natto for years and know the taste, smell and the right consistency that it must possess. Day before yesterday I got another packet delivered and instantly knew something was wrong with it. Soybeans when fermented with Bacillus subtilis to make authentic Natto makes it slimy with a typical smell. If you put a small pinch in your mouth, it should feel slimy. If it doesn't and just tastes like mud/earth, it's not authentic or they did not let it ferment long enough. That's what happened to the last batch which is why I asked Amazon for a refund and they thankfully obliged. I will be placing another order today. Overall, the product is good but took off a star for lack of manufacturing QC.

Great taste, if you like natto, and seems to be a quality product, too!
I am relatively new to natto - just started eating it in powdered form, and have not tried it fresh. The "string-y" slimy textures simply are repulsive to me - so, I ordered it in powder. I have to say, I love the taste of it, and have been adding about a teaspoon to a tablespoon of it to whatever I am eating for dinner - my one meal of the day. So far, it has been added to wild rice, pizza, vegetables, dips - just whatever I am eating. I am consuming it for my health, and don't know what effect it is having on THAT, but I have noticed that my hair and fingernails are growing at a phenomenal rate. Have to trim my bangs - on my almost 67-yr. old head - once or twice a week, and trim my fingernails at least once a week. It must be doing my body good!
