Hoover & Candy Tumble Dryer Fluff & Lint Filter

Priced at £11.20 at the time of purchase, this replacement fluff and lint filter was a straightforward replacement for my mum’s Hoover Candy tumble dryer. It fitted perfectly and restored the dryer without needing to replace the whole appliance. My mum’s tumble dryer lint collector had become damaged and was starting to feel quite delicate. When cleaning it, I was worried about causing further damage, so I decided to look for a replacement rather than risk making it worse. I found this replacement filter and it fitted perfectly into the tumble dryer. It slots into place securely and feels like a good match for the original part. Replacing a worn or damaged filter is a simple way to keep an older appliance usable, and this has been a practical solution for extending the life of my mum’s tumble dryer.

Bought as a replacement as the netting had started to come away on the original. Absolutely the same as original, fits perfectly. Good quality materials and a very good price. I would recommend this item.

The original Hoover one broke after 10 hard years use, so I can't complain. I thought the price of the OEM replacement was ridiculous so went for this one. It fits better and has a better design than the Hoover one, which will definitely reduce the amount of lint that bypasses the filter. The only grumble is that the three catches that hold it shut seem unnecessarily hard to open and feel like they're on the verge of breaking each time. That said... I'm tempted to break them off deliberately because the fact it's wedged in an orifice means it'll stay closed when I'm use anyway and it'll make it much easier to empty. I still think it's really expensive for what it is- i can't fathom why it costs more than a couple of quid. But it is good and all things are comparative - its half the price of the OEM part.

Bought to replace my previous filter which had broken. Fits the candy dryer well. No problems. Good quality, value for money, I think this is probably one of the cheaper ones on offer and is perfectly adequate for the job.

Exact replacement for my tumble dryer. Fluff had been getting through the old one, from several years of drying, which has caused the old one to warp from the sides a little. Sraightforward replacement.
