I purchased these sanding belts to do some light sanding on a few projects I have. I'm on my 5th one due to the belts failing where they join. Looks like the tape, or whatever is used to join the belt together, just failed. I've had this happen on older belts that I've used and I chalked it up to the belts being old...over a year. I've never had this happen to new belts. Unfortunately I would not recommend these belts due to this flaw.

I use my finger sander often so I bought a multi pack for these. It has been awhile and the first one is still going strong.

Good product performs well and is reasonably priced

Serves my needs, as purchased to do a quick sharpen off edge for axes. I don't do any hard grinding just a quick pass 2-3 times and works great> I would not buy for any heavy sanding as from brand new had a electrical smell as if was worked hard that concerns me. As others posted on reviews- be prepared to go through lots of belts. For light sharpening or polishing 220 to 320 works great for axes. Just don't overdo it! Heat will destroy temper on them. Hope it gives me many year use as purchased a lot of belts. If not will go air next one!

These belts fall apart withing seconds of using. It's like they all need extra glue to be useable to keep them from breaking apart...terrible product
