This was purchased for someone who is travelling for an extended period of time. It is well-crafted and the leather feels soft to the touch. The leather strap that binds the book shut is very nice and give this notebook a lot of character.The pages themselves are quality. Not high quality, but that's not what you're paying for.This is an excellent product for the price it is at. It also holds more character than other leatherbound notebooks or modern moleskin notebooks.

My son loves this. We bought this for my 8 year old son who loves to watch YouTube drawing videos. It’s the perfect size for him to bring wherever we go. He’s a little to old for kiddy menu coloring when we go out to restaurants. I just throw this in my purse with a pack of colored pencils and he’s good to go. The leather is great quality and the pages are really nice too. He has no trouble erasing things and I love the smell of the real leather! We plan to order another one for my mother in law who actually writes in a journal daily. This is a great gift for anyone!!

I was put off at first with the idea that the inside paper was not interchangeable like the travelers. But very quickly i realized it was much easier for me because of the size. I love the size. This notebook is fun to write more lengthy info, notes, and journaling. While my travelers passport size notebook is for quick writing purposes and easy carry. I added the sticky pockets, and the pen holder that was too bulky for my passport is perfect for this journal! Yay! Not sure how i feel about the paper. I like the idea of non-processed paper, but it takes getting used to... I bought three for me and one for my sister as a gift.

Good looking book, had a nice vintage/rustic look. Utilized as a sketch book. Holding up great. Only wish replacement paper pack was available and that it was more easy to swap out paper.

This journal is Awesome! I belong to a group that does paranormal research and this is great for writing down our adventures and observations. I really like the vintage look and how the paper feels. You can clearly tell that this is made from a higher quality than anything that you would find at a department store. I recommend this journal to anybody who likes to draw, write, or likes vintage styled things.Did i mention that this looks pretty cool on my bookshelf?

Ordered this journal to record my travels. This is going to be perfect! I like to place a post card on a page and then notes and sketches to remind me of a place that I have visited. The page size is just right. The supple leather cover has the right give to get in and out of my jacket pocket. Think I might have found a great gift idea for the holidays.Update: 12/26/2017 - gave as gift and was such a big hit with the recepiant that sister and aunt also want one! This is my new go to gift.

The design and craftsmanship is mighty fine. Made from a perfect buffalo pelt it fits right in my satchel. I bring it with me everywhere as I explore this vast country sketching the various flora and fauna I discover. It also serves as a day-to-day journal so I can track the goings-on inside the camp and keep tabs on those darn O’Driscolls. Otherwise it serves me just fine as I journal and take stock of my life, wondering how I can correct my wrongs and find some redemption.

Love the craftsmanship. The paper is quality for doodles and fine art, personal notes and whimsy. It was appreciated and is useful for the creative. Can live in a backpack, glovebox, on your bedside table, in a treasure trunk. It can grow soft and plyable over the years if you journal.
