Can you use this for making just a strong cup of regular coffee? Thank you.

My husband and i put this in our ninja coffee maker everyday and also put it on strong brew.. it tastes fine to me! He loves muddy coffee and we haven’t had a technical issue with the machine if that’s what you mean

what is the expiration date?

No, because there in no expiration date on the container. However, it is vacuum packed, thus I assume a couple of years

How fine is the grind? Espresso fine, or more course drip-style?

I'm bucking the apparent consensus here, but when I tried this, it was too coarsely ground for my Rancillio Silva machine. Even tamped down as hard as I could pack it, this grind gave too-fast, too-weak shots. The icons on the can itself claim it's good for drip style or french press use, both of which require a coarser grind than a pump-style espresso maker. FWIW, I've had good luck with both Café Gaviña and Medaglia D'Oro pre-ground espresso roast coffees, both available here on Amazon.

I believe the expiration date is on the bottom of the can - my latest batch says 280215 (Feb. 28, 2015). But, coffee generally lasts a good amount of time if it is not opened....
