My son left it laying alongside the driveway and I accidentally ran it over one night. It sunk it into the grass, but surprisingly this didn't ruin the scooter in any way. Just had to reset the handbars and away he went again. He leaves it out in the elements regularly and in the past year of doing so, I haven't noticed any notable fading or wear of the scooter.
