Just got off the phone with Blue Rhino, seller of propane tanks at the big box stores in my area. Blue Rhino tells me that all of their tanks are 20# although they are only filled with 15# of propane. If that is true then this device is worthless. A 20# Blue Rhino tank will not fit, no matter how much effort is used. The tank merely sits on top and is actually LESS STABLE! Sending it back as useless. UPDATE: MY APOLOGIES FOR THE HASTY AND INACCURATE ORIGINAL REVIEW. I WAS WRONG! SORRY. After looking at the fit problem, I turned the tank upside down and pressed the stabilizer onto it. Easy and fit like a glove. Provides a secure and stable base for a 20# tank. Again, my apology for being too quick to judge...

This is an inexpensive product that can prevent a lot of problems with a propane tank top heater. Propane tanks do not have a stable base This product provides a stable base. It's pretty simple, but very smart.

This is perfect for hauling a propane bottle after having the bottle refilled. Keeps it upright.

I didn't have any trouble at all getting the 30 pound tank so sit in it. It is very stable. Works exactly as claimed. I gave 3 stars on 'easy to remove', only because I haven't had to remove the tank yet, so I can't speak to that particular attribute. I don't foresee any problems at all though.

I purchased this item with the hope that it would be good to stabilize an extra 20# propane cylinder that I take camping. The product did work as advertised, but it is not durable. The base actually takes up more floor space than the milk crate that I typically haul it in, which I was hoping to replace. This base broke on the second weekend trip. Now I am back to the milk crate, which was less expensive and much more durable.

Honestly, at first I thought it was a joke, the 30lb propane tank wouldn't get in, it was wobbling all around, I thought, well maybe it fits the 20lb better... nope! Then it occurred to me, it can't be designed this way, I tried pushing it down and applying more force with each attempts and then when it got in, it gave a satisfying sense of stability and security. Did the same with the 30lb with slightly more force and determination, inserted itself wonder fully.Moral of the story: just push! don't be fearful, it won't break, if it does, it's not on you anyway and with Amazon's return policy, you're covered.

This is a good quality holder. Propane bottle fits snugly and stays upright,important for safety. Highly recommend over using a milk carton.

Great product!I have 2-tank bases and they stack into each other which is great when they are not in use!Great for transporting the propane tanks empty or full!
