I bought these because I had read that gelatin could help your joints. I have been taking for almost a month and I can definitely say I have noticed a difference in my bad knee. The dose is 4 capsules and after reading other reviews I started with only two capsules for a few days and then increased to 4. After another week or so I backed off again to only 2 capsules daily because of some bloating. So far this seems to be the best dose for me.

I have severe arthritis pain in both knees. I have tried everything for pain that is OTC. I can't take shots in the knees because my blood sugar goes way high and it also doesn't work. I decided to try gelatin because I hear the amino acids are good for joints. I took as directed, two pills in the morning and two in the evening. The next day, I was amazed! That biting, angry pain I usually have was gone. Truly a miracle. The next, I take as usual but now I'm experiencing some side effects. Bloating, like my pants don't fit; weight gain; upset stomach; and a weird pressure in the middle of my chest. I was so disappointed. I decided to just start with one a day but still, I get the symptoms. I wish there was some way of taking this without the side effects because this was really working for me but I can't take this awful bloating feeling.

I ordered this product after all of the reviews. I do not consume pork products so I am usually good at checking capsules to make sure they aren't made from gelatin (unless stated beef gelatin) before I purchase it. I somehow overlooked this particular product, perhaps because it is beef gelatin, and after taking it a few times I noticed it in fact has gelatin. I was careful about checking other vitamin capsules and such I had purchased from NOW Foods and ordered ones not made with gelatin. I just wish this product wasn't made with gelatin. I can no longer take the capsules and such a big bottle is going to go to waste. I really can't say that the capsules helped me though. I didn't take it as much as it states because I wanted to get a medicine container so I can sort them out and take them properly. I would hope after all the great reviews the product would work if you took it as it suggests to.

As a 45 yo male, my feet had begun to hurt...a lot. I have what’s called ‘Fat Pad Syndrome’. The fatty deposits on the bottom of your feet that provide cushion when you walk were all but gone. I work in health care and walk about 3-5 miles a day. I had heard about this product and decided to give it a shot. Long story short: I’ve taken 4 capsules, once a day, for the last six months and it’s made a HUGE difference. Not only do my feet feel much better, but my face actually looks younger! I hadn’t really noticed that my face had thinned out over the years, but I can’t help but notice the changes since I started. I would definitely recommend this for anyone in a similar situation!

I came across a website blog that extolled the virtues of gelatin for your skin, hair, nails, and weight loss. Hmmm, interesting. (the website is called Hold The Toast by Dana Carpenter, you can Google it.) Buying it from the NOW brand on Amazon seemed to be the best value unless you buy the bag of powder which on Amazon comes in a 5 lbs bag. It is hard to judge exactly what the benefit manifestations are for me, I will say that. Is my skin less wrinkled? My nails stronger? Hair stronger or more of it? I cannot honestly say. The above website mentions amino acids and natural HGH production. I am at this writing 55. I have been taking this product for about 10 months and the biggest and possibly only noticeable improvement that I had was my skin was definitely softer and smoother. However my experience has been that most natural supplements take a while to build up and give benefit in your body. At 55 years of age, there is no magic pill to reverse the damage age and gravity does to your collagen production. So I'll take whatever help I can get and this does help is my determination. For general health benefits, you might be better off buying organic raw soup bones and simmering them in a big pot and using the stock for cooking. To get a proper dosage of these capsules I take 4 a night. I could probably double that.

I actually bought this because I was on a mission to get rid of my stretch marks in 6 months. I also have serious hip pain from carrying and giving birth to twins. So I heard this stuff was great but I wanted it in pill form. Usually long periods of time on my feet or exercise will trigger pain. And it's not light pain, it's either a sharp stabbing pain that has the ability to throw me off my balance or dull, constant throbbing pain all day. I have not had pain ONCE since the day I started taking this. I have also noticed that my sleep is much better. I sleep so damn good, I don't even know what year it is when I wake up! Haven't seen changes in my skin but it's only actually been two weeks. Collagen production is actually a very complicated process so I expect that rebuilding my skin will take bit longer. Ordered unhydrolyzed kind and molds so I can make my own jellies to up my intake in a fun way as well my kids. This stuff is great, will recommend
