Fovitec 1.5m x 2m Gray/Blue Double-Sided Pop-Out Muslin Studio Photography Background

I bought this backdrop (Fovitec - 150cm x 200cm grey/blue) thinking that is very possible to send it back due to the low quality of the materials, I was wrong.Along with this backdrop I also bought another one from a better brand thinking that it will be better and I will keep it but I ended up sending it back the next day after the delivery after I compared the quality, so I kept Fovitec.If all the materials and build are like mine I think this backdrop is a very good buy, I can't say the best because I haven't seen all the other backdrops from all brands.Very good quality, the descriptions are correct and I think is worth the money.

As an actress, I used it for two self tapes this week and have already booked a job.Also, it folds down fine. Not EASY but not terribly hard.

A little hard to balance. Sometimes I can fold first time, other times it takes 100 tries!!

Pretty good lastolite clone. Straight out of the box the grey did show creases that were difficult to avoid unless you get into ironing... this is a natural problem with all light colour backdrops - and the sprung tension isn't enough to remove these creases

I need something extremely portable and extremely quick to deploy and use. While this background fits the first of those three, it seems to hold creases for far too long to be quick to use. I guess this would be good for temporary but prolonged use, i.e. put it up for and leave for a while for creases to drop out, or maybe spray with water; but for repeated quick deployment and use, e.g. ready to go in seconds and packed/unpacked several times a day, it’s not really suitable. I guess you could throw the background out if focus if you were able to put your subject far enough in front, but then you’d need to step back and zoom in, requiring a lot of room. Maybe a roll out, projector screen type background would be better suited to my needs, but they’re considerably more expensive.

Using this product for work and each time I used it, it gradually got harder to put away as the metal join became more stubborn.On about its 10th use, the whole thing collapsed as is became totally unscrewed. Now unusable.

Envio superrapido, me tomo de sorpresa lo rapido que llego a mis manos. El fondo en tono gris es el mas versatil. Al principio devolverlo a su posicion de empaque es confuso, pero en youtube hay muchos tutoriales para ello. Buen producto, los materiales se ven duraderos. Estoy muy contento con la compra.

Man muss das zusammenlegen etwas üben. Youtube hilft, aber es gibt mehrere Techniken und die erste hat schon nach ein paar Mal nicht mehr funktioniert. In der Mitte falten und mit beiden Händen festhalten, eine Hand 90 Grad im Uhrzeigersinn an der Kante lang führen, dann oben mit der anderen Hand die gleiche Seite loslassen und Eindrehen funktioniert immer. Das Video dazu müsst ihr leider selber suchen und eine Textbeschreibung ist echt schwer.Jedenfalls zu den Farben: Blau funktioniert als Bluescreen und Grau ist ein toller Fotohintergrund. Mit einer weißen Lampe nah genug da vor erscheint der Hintergrund auf der Webcam weiß und der automatische Weißabgleich funktioniert. Man sieht sofort um Welten besser aus.

ce fond d'écran et vraiment top. Le gris correspond à un gris neutre (128) Parfait pour la photo. Le bleu est super beau. J'ai fait de beau portraits pour un guitariste avec sa guitare marron, ca ressort trop bien. Le produit est de bonne qualité est suffisamment grand. Je ne regrette pas mon achat.

We are so glad to have received this product! We needed a solid gray, as it doesn't clash with clothes people are wearing and sometimes black causes "floating heads" if the person is wearing black! (The gray is slightly on the greenish side, but we can live with that. Wrinkles come out in a couple of days when the panel is left open except for a few small ones. It probably could be ironed on a low setting and with a damp cloth under the iron to remove them. We will see if the small wrinkles show up if not too close behind the person being photographed. The panel has a steel spring outer band and is flexible enough to fit easily in the provided carrying bag. We did watch the video regarding how to fold it; it works like some of the twisty-type car sunshades. It is convenient and cost-efficient that the backdrop panel is two-sided, medium gray and a bright blue. What a relief to find it and also to find that it works perfectly with the stand: Lastolite 3355 Free Standing Stand- Cum- Bracket Background Support System for Collapsible Backgrounds.
