Disappointed
One gem had a large white patch of fungus rot (whatever it’s called!) and another gem was almost rotten. Very squishy.The advertsays they’re fresh/new but sadly I think they’re old.

Lekker man! Mixed review had me worried but they are as they should be.

Dissapointed by great expectations.
While it's great to see an old favourite available. For the price I expected 4pieces but on closer inspection of the cleverly taken photo 3pieces arrived. Quality of 2 acceptable. 1 seemed old and when cooked didn't present well. Could tell you if it tasted ok, ask the bin.

More like a marrow
Reminds me of SA. but they are not quite what I expected. The texture is rather fibrous, maybe due to the size and also conditions grown in the UK. More like a marrow.

We absolutely love gem squash and are thrilled to be able to get them on a more regular basis, highly recommended veg and so versatile for dieting too!!

Usually excellent, as I love gem squash and they are hard to come by, this last time though they were old and dry inside. Was disappointed but hopefully next time will be better.
