I bought the Geek & Gorgeous 101 Stress Less serum during a particularly nasty skin flare-up. I suspect I have rosacea on my cheeks, and at this stage of my life, my skin has become incredibly changeable and reactive. This serum has been an absolute lifesaver for settling down that "stinging, biting" irritation that usually comes with a flare. Texture & Application: The serum itself is lovely, really light, silky, and smooth to apply. It doesn't feel tacky or heavy; it just sinks in and provides an instant cooling sensation. I’ve found that within just two or three days of consistent use, my skin feels significantly calmer and the visible redness is much reduced. My Routine: I tend to layer this with the Geek & Gorgeous "Happier Barrier" cream to really lock in the benefits and protect my skin's moisture barrier. The two together are a dream team for sensitive faces. Verdict: I really appreciate the science-led approach of this brand. The packaging is functional and high-quality, and the price point is incredibly reasonable for such an effective formula. If you struggle with unpredictable skin or rosacea, this is a must-have. Five stars, I will happily be buying this again!

Does what is says on the box. Doesn’t trigger acne and I think it has reduced some of my redness

I have to wear a lot of sunblock due to my skin, being very fair and delicate, and these are the only products that completely clean my face in the evening. They also don’t dry out my mature skin

Everything from this brand doesnt miss. They are exactly what the ordinary pretents to be 😭 just simple, incredible formulas with the most effective forms of different actives.

Really calming, soothing and restorative serum. I love Geek and Gorgeous as a brand! Made with madecassoside and betaglucan, this serum is lightweight, easily absorbed and no sticky at all. I was experiencing some skin irritation (redness, extra sensitivity) and this serum alone helped me get back to normal skin. It layers very well with other products. Scent-free. Excellent value for money.

I had regrettably purchased this product before I read the review noting someone else with sensitive skin had also had an issue. Unfortunately as I could not return the product I decided to test it on the back of my hand first. The liquid itself is a thick rather sticky consistency. it went on the skin reasonably well. However after a few minutes it began pricking and stinging. I had to wash the product off after about 5 minutes. It left my skin red and irritated. I would caution anyone buying the product who has sensitive skin that this most likely would not be the product for you. I contrasted with the Cicaplast Baume B5+ with madecassoide. This product did not produce the same reaction and instead left my skin smooth, soft and did not irritate.

If you have eczema or skin that ever gets itchy and irritated, do get this. It's also excellent to wear under Tretinoin / retinoids as a buffer. It was also an excellent serum for me to use after getting in-office microneedling and laser treatments. It truly helps your skin heal quickly and prevent future irritation / stress. Beta Glucan is not talked about enough in the skincare community, I've read that it's also an ingredient used in medicine for wound healing!
