Works exactly like the official ones.
I use my Aeropress every day, several times. It makes great coffee, but the filters are quite expensive. You can get a reuseable metal filter, but I found it affected the coffee slightly. These papers don't - they make coffee exactly like the official ones, and cost less than half as much. They are very slightly thinner, and also very slightly bigger in diameter. They fit my Aeropress fine, but they are a snug fit into the filter base. The papers come pre-packed in 8 plastic wrapped packs of 100 each. I'm OK with that, as it will take me a while to get through all these, and they won't be affected by damp in the meantime. The eight packs are held in a small ziplock bag, which is also handy as I use my Aeropress when I'm travelling. I can keep the mixing paddle, scoop and papers all together in the bag. Yes, it might seem like more plastic than is absolutely necessary, but there is a reason for it and it's not something I can get too upset about. For what it's worth, the official filters also come wrapped in sub-packs which are then wrapped again.

Good alternative.
Are these spot on exactly the right size to the nearest fraction of a millimetre? No. Do they work? Yes.You'll see from my photographs that when you put one into the Aeropress lid they appear ok (with a little bit of encouragement) but if you wet them they wrinkle up. It doesn't seem to make any difference, and my coffee didn't leak out of the sides or any of the other things you might worry about. The only thing that I'd question is whether the unbleached filters make any difference to the taste, but then again I take milk and sugar in my drink so I'm not really the person to ask. I expect it's better for the environment to have unbleached so on that basis alone I'd stick with them. The addition of a reusable ziplock bag is a bonus in my opinion, as I never know where to keep these things once they're open. If you're worried about the fact that the bag contains plastics, think of the unbleached paper as balancing it out.800 of these will last me a couple of years. Recommended.

Simple filters for my aeropress
The media could not be loaded. Great value replacement filters for the aeropress, I chose unbleached, haven't noticed any change in flavour compared to using a reusable metal mesh filter.

Functional if not elegant
As the title says reallyAnecdotally these seem to function and filter fine, I didn't have any particular issue with fines or grounds making it through but I would say with respect to the aeropress I found them marginally larger - doesn't impact performance though and perhaps you'll have other applications where the additional ~1 - 2mm diameter suits.Visually they're a bit rougher, a bit more fibrous, but again it hasn't appeared to have generally affected performance so far so, no points really deducted for that.I'm sure by now there are a lot of options in this part of the market so I can't really give you a reason to pick this over other options but if this suits your budget or amount that you're looking for then it seems you may get fair mileage out of it.

Unbleached filters
Really impressed with the value for money with these! 800 filters for £10.99?! Bargain!I got these to use with my stove top coffee maker thing. I know it has a filtering system built in but I've seen some coffee enthusiasts online add filters for an extra level of smoothness and that's where these come in.It was very hard to understand the differences between bleached and unbleached. In the end it seems if you use these you may need to rinse before use to remove the "papery" taste. But otherwise the unbleached is better for the environment. Highly recommend if you've got an aero press thingy or a stove coffee unit like me x

Spot on
At £10.99 for 800 filters (at time of review), this comes in 20% cheaper than official Aeropress filters AND comes with almost 15% more filters (800 vs 700). But ultimately it comes down to whether they do the job or not and they certainly do. The filters are strong and do not let any granules through. They are just a tiny bit bigger than official Aeropress filters, but they fit perfectly. I was also impressed that they come wrapped in bundles of 100 (8 packs in total) as this is great for anyone who does not have a filter holder and makes them great for travel. These offer great value for money and do not forsake quality or performance. Fantastic!

Exact size match for my existing AeroPress; work well; convenient packaging
These are an exact size match for my existing filters (see photos – the white filter paper is an original and the brown one is from these replacement ones). They seem to work identically in my AeroPress, and they hold up well (they don't tear when wet).I like the fact they are unbleached (the ones I went for anyway) – they are only going to end up brown from the coffee grounds in any case! The packaging is also really good: they come in individual packs of around a hundred, it seems, each sealed so they stay nice and clean, and the whole lot comes in a little zip-lock pencil case. This latter part a tad excessive, perhaps, but handy to keep the multiple sealed pouches in.
