One of the best Tamarind Chutneys.. Finger licking..

I like how moderate the taste of this product, it adds a great background flavor to my meals

It is good but a bit too spicy for me.

Nothing on the box says anything about tamarind paste, just “cooking paste” as shown in the picture. 10 minutes and a sharp knife was needed to remove the ridiculous amount of tape and bubble wrap. Overkill on the packaging but the tamarind is good.

Personal preference I am sure but made taste me sick after using it awhile. It seems like a very pure product.

We love this chutney, but one of the two jars I received was improperly sealed and leaking. I followed Amazon steps to return or refund the product but was not allowed to return it or get a refund !!! BOO HOO!

I soak it a bit to loosen and make tambran balls.

This product is exactly what it states- organic tamarind as a paste (consistency of honey), no other junk or additives. And being a paste- super versatile. I use it in yogurt and on burgers…. Love the sour-ish taste. And the packaging is always well protected for shipping (thank you too for the glass container)..I’ll continue to order this each month.

Jusr add teaspoonful when Flavouring stir fries, curries etc

EDIT: This is my second order of this Chutney and it's absolutely wonderful, as has a well-balanced flavour. This chutney is so goooood! Wish I could give 10 stars1 - I love Rani products - they're always fresh and very flavourful. I have 6 of their spices and spice masalas (Masala means spice mixes)I can recommend all Rani products highly!

Packaging misleading until I opened the box sorry for the negative seller feedback my mistake. Excellent product made my Thai curry truly authentic have this on repeat order
