Has anyone tried steeping this product for longer than the recommended 8-12 hours? I’m curious if it’s possible to make a stronger batch, but want to know if the coffee bags will be affected. Thanks!

I generally leave the bags in for about 24 hours; it doesn't affect the bags and the coffee turns out great! It just makes it stronger!

So there were six boxes with two packs inside and each pack had two bags of coffee inside is that correct?

Yes. We make a large pitcher in our fridge with both packs and a gallon of water. Lasts several days for 2 people. Really good product! Enjoy

Carbs and Sugar amounts?

Great question Tony! The FDA and CFIA exempt coffee from nutrition labeling regulations as they consider the nutrients in the brewed coffee you'll be consuming to be at "insignificant" amounts. Therefore, there is no nutrition panel on coffee labels. These agencies define insignificant as less than five calories per serving and less than one gram of fat, carbohydrates, dietary fiber and protein per serving, respectively. When a food or beverage contains such low levels, the amounts may be declared as zero on the label. As such, our Cold Brew Coffee contains such minimal amounts of carbohydrates and sugar, they are considered insignificant. We hope this is helpful!

Are the beans in the pack medium or dark roast?

It’s ground coffee, not beans, in two packets. I’m pretty sure it’s medium roast. Have been brewing my own for a year now and it really works for me!
