Very interesting, a new concept for me
Very interesting, certainly something I will have a go at

OK but...
Some of it did inspire me and was helpful, but more suited to those who like to draw fantasy figures - not dragons etc but just unreal figures, such as a vacuum cleaner with a face on. I don't get that but I found the tips helpful, though would have liked more.

Drawing tips for absolute beginners.
I love this book so much. I can't even draw a stick man but with help from this book I've already drawn a cute bee and a giraffe! I've long been a fan of colouring books and didn't think this one would captivate me in the same way but I'm absolutely fascinated by the drawing possibilities that even I can accomplish! All you need are the red, black and blue pens plus some plain paper and you're up and doodling. ( Note to the publisher - my copy has a spelling mistake on the back page blurb, but maybe mine is an early print run.)

Great fun
This is a fun, free thinking and very interesting idea, our whole family have been doodling non-stop since it arrived. The topics are fun and clear, the printing quality is also excellent, so you're pretty positive what's going on.We've drawn alongside the examples and also traced them straight off of the page. It's simply great fun... I'd recommend this for teenagers around 14+.... Up to any adult.

Aimed at children of 8+, an imaginative guide to drawing without expensive equipment
A very imaginative guide to drawing, essentially aimed at older children, something which isn't entirely clear from the cover. (There are mentions of "your Dad's sock drawer ", for example). Many of the drawings have a Manga / anime feel to them, which children who like this style of art may love. Having said that it's written for children, adults interested in improving their own drawing skills will find lots of clear guidance. No need to invest in expensive pencils, pastels and charcoals, just red, black and blue basic ballpoint pens. There are templates to copy for those wanting more guidance, and the overall approach of the book is warm and friendly.A great gift when packaged with a pack of pens and a pad of plain paper, and finally a use for all the red pens hanging around in drawers and on desktops.

Ludique et source d'inspiration
Les dessins sont très bien fait dans le style 'mignon' et on apprend beaucoup de choses comme comment dessiner de la fourrure et plumes, comment décorer une page et faire des séries. Je recommande.

Too childish
It seems something put together on a weekend on a bet. No real information. Just child-like doodles. Would not recommend.
