Aside getting one bulb that was broken, I've never had an issue with these bulbs. In the 2 years I've been using these bulbs, they have yet to die on me. Best part, my leopard gecko and bearded dragon love the heat. It emits 0 light so its perfect to have on at night and not disturb my lizards day/night cycle.

Literally! We like to have our house on the colder side and this has been perfect for keeping our bearded dragons temperatures where they need to be at night without disrupting the light cycle

It’s a great concept…
It is less fire hazard issues than many other items I have used. The dome only gets to 100F fully on and 5.5”. The heat is more distributed than a 25w G9 lamp but the distance definitely minimizes its effectiveness fast. It definitely heats differently and is nice but I think the 80 would be needed more for anything a little larger than small animals that can get closer to the 50w. It’s not that powerful but it does work… I expectEd more from the 50w though for sure
