Fit for purpose BUT
I used it to ease zips in my 'plastic' minigreenhouses that were getting difficult to use (been out all winter) plus several squeaking door handles. Smells but little, comes out of the container fast, so do not squeeze on first opening else you will lose a lot ! As with another poster the only annoying thing is that the tiny cap meant to close off the tiny 'spout' doesn't stay in situ, i.e. it does not fit, keeps springing off. I have come to the conclusion that I will make a ball of Bluetac to use as a cap but will need to take care that the bluetac does not enter the tiny spout or else I shall be up the spout not being able to dispense the oil . Maybe I will stick a pin in the end like you do with glue before placing the bluetac on the spout. - You need to do something about the cap because if you knock the tiny 'can' over you will lose the lot and make a mess.

Perfect!
3 in 1 oil has been around for years because it still does what it's supposed to do, I use it for my Rowing Machine but it has many uses and you can't go wrong with 3 in 1.

Its like a wizard in a bottle
I happened upon this item on amazon having been without it for many years. At such a low price I could not control the need for impulse acquisitions and could not have clicked the button faster, well unless I had a solution for these stiff and clanky arms. I entered my address details with a whimsical of thought to when the postal services will reach my challenging location, its terribly unpredictable with these tornados.Sorry I ramble, it had been some lonely years and it had up until recently been challenging to move far...if I am honest I hadn't moved far at all for some time. The noises I would make and the stiffness were insufferable, I was fearful that I would attract some of the despicable things I see glimpses of and hear howling. It was about this time that I came to realise from standing so still that I couldn't hear the beat of my clearly broken heart...what seemed a long time passed when one morning I saw the postman being chased by strange bat looking monekys the poor lad threw the delivery towards me without stopping and screamed something about a house, witches and something that sounded like "freekeysingingbastors". I watched him run off up the yellow road with his malevolent entourage in tow, in all that excitement I forgot about my delivery...With haste I looked around..well when I say looked I was able to move my eyes a little and there not three steps away lay my delivery. With the sheer glee and excitement of a 5 year old I went to pick up my parcel, my elevated mood quickly disappeared leaving a dank and dark shadow over my beatless heart as realisation dawned, I was utterly immobile. I fear had it not been for some surprising visitors I would have still been there to this day...I remember it fondly thinking how peculiar a walking talking scarecrow with the biggest blooming munchkin I hd ever seen....maybe it was my brain that was peculiar.Well, next you see this odd couple were terribly nice, but that scarecrow fellow was clearly thicker than the goo from a well watered witch. The large munchkin actually turned out to be a Dorothy who was also accompanied by a tiny yet loud beast called toto, she ever so nicely retrieved my delivery and was even good enough to put some on all my seized up joints.I was astounded, if I could have stood up to show my excitement I would have but I had been stood for so long it felt somewhat hollow....so I had wee dance instead. She said they were off to see a wizard to get thicko a brain, her a way home and asked if I would like toto join them....it would give me an excuse to check the latest model heart that that crazy old codger had at rip off prices before getting it from Amozon...unfortunately I received a rather rude letter from Warner brothers forbidden me to discuss it any further. But in respect to the 3 in 1 oil I am somewhere over the rainbow.

No muss no fuss, no mess no stress.
When I fledged the nest I started tinkering and fixing stuff in my house by my own reckoning and design, and I found myself falling into the WD40 trap, where you would buy their whole range of products for every little thing - and you would use it everywhere you could.I had three problems to fix. A clattering, vibrating, annoying PC fan, an incredibly grating crunchy-squeak on a dishwasher door, and an even more annoying high pitched squealy-squelchy covered in gloss paint door hinge on the bathroom door. These three things combined definitely almost drove me into a state of psychosis, absolutely, yes.WD40 didn't work on it - not permanently, anyway. I tried multiple different products from their range, and I'd pretty much given up hope, and phoned my Dad to see if he could do some more delicate work taking things apart to get to the source. He just berated me for using WD40 and then gave me a 1/4 full bottle of this Flexican oil that he said he'd had on hand for years.I was naturally a little skeptical, I'd never even heard of this brand, and it looked so depressingly droll - small plastic bottle which was faded and sad looking, so me being stupidly "modern" in my way of thinking, didn't think much of it. Regardless, I used it on all three problems. They were instantly solved. They haven't come back.It didn't even seem like I did a good, thorough job, not compared to my previous attempts with the WD40 stuff. I just literally tipped the bottle upside down, placed the nozzle near where I was sure the problem originated, and then let loose a few drops.Bang. Problem solved, problem gone. Just like that. This little unknown oil (to me at the time, anyway) brand that my Dad has been using for years and swore by it solved it just like that. Amazing. Although I grieves me deeply to admit it, Dad always knows best.I hope one day I can be in his place, tutting and laughing at my own children when they scorn this little bottle of oil and reach for the "tried and true top brand" of WD40 or whatever. But uh anyway, yeah. This is fantastic and you should buy it. Lubrication, removing squeaks, improving moving parts, properly, efficiently and for long durations. Flexican 3-in-1 oil. There's most definitely no alternative.

Very oily.
Its oil. It oils things and leaves them oily. In that regard I'd say it does it very well and I'd recommend this oil to those of you looking to make non-oily things oily. It has a shelf life of approximately ten thousand years too (then the plastic will leak maybe) so no worries about it going "off". Combine this stuff with a rag to make the old school tool; the "oily rag", which is great for many rust preventing purposes. The nozzel allows even the most ham-fisted of oafs to put oil in the right spot. :)
