This unit worked great with really good picture and sound quality. It does require power at both sites. I have a cable box hooked to TV in Family room and split to TV on an outside patio through Cat 5e approximately 50 feet of cable. Every once in awhile it needs to be reset and has to be done in the sequence called out in the directions. Shut down and connect in sequence.

Used this to push a HDMI signal from a PTZ camera through a 100’ CAT6 STP cable and it worked flawlessly at 1080P60 even running parallel with AC power for several feet. Would recommend.

Worked just as it should. No apparent lag on a PS4.We have a theater (projector) room and needed to place a PS4 by the screen due to the VR setup. When I wired the theater, I did not run a spare HDMI since the theater receiver is located someplace else. So I was going to be stuck running a HDMI in a cable raceway (to hide it)...and it was going to have to make plenty of complicated turns which would painted and likely look ugly even if done correctly. Luckily, I ran a spare CAT6 line from near the screen back to the receiver location, independent of the house network.This device fit the bill perfectly. Connected it up in a matter of minutes, and it worked as advertised....job done.

I purchased these receivers to connect a 48" wall mounted Samsung LCD TV to my Dell laptop on a docking station to use as a remote monitor. The HDMI cable that had been run inside the wall failed and, because of obstacles in our wall, we were unable to use the failed cable to pull a replacement cable. These receivers saved the day and work beautifully as a replacement. The signal is strong and flicker/distortion free. The picture and audio quality is excellent - no different than when I was connected via HDMI cable.

Purchased this so the NVR recording cameras can be in a safe closet but a monitor can be across the office in another room so they can see who and what is going on outside. I had a CAT6 cable already run, so I used CAT 5e patch cables to connect them together and within about 5 seconds they attached and linked and had crystal clear video. They come with brackets to mount on a wall or board and the power adapters are very small, unlike most wall warts that take up a ton of room, these are about the size of a standard power plug, a little bigger, but defintely easy to fit on a surge strip without covering other outlets. I have only had it running a few days, but it seems to be working just fine.

At short distance, the picture quality is good. But, I was losing sync on the projector and seeing jitter/blitter nearing 100ft. So, maybe cat6 would make it better? Maybe shilded cable?Ultimately, what we needed was performance all the way to the max specs and it just doesn't come close to doing what they say it will do. Disappointed.

Running HDMI signal over 100' cat6 to a projector. Worked perfectly fine the first two times I used it, but after that I noticed that the picture started cutting in and out. The picture would randomly go black for 1-5 seconds and come back on, and this quickly became more frequent to the point where it was unusable. From what I've read, my guess is that this product would last longer if it was unplugged when not in use, and if the ethernet cable was shorter, but not that's just a guess.

The packaging was very good, out of the box, the unit(s) came up as expected. The transmitter runs a little hotter than what I expected but overall, this pair was well worth the money. My setup (DirecTV Genie / Samsung TV) works really good. I used this pair to replace an existing set in my motorhome that failed from heat exposure. The manufacturer had the transmitter installed in the front cap of the motorhome where temps can reach 200 degrees. This replacement gave me the opportunity to bring the unit into the living areal. I think it should survive much better this way.
