Very accurate gage for welding inspection. I ordered two, one metric and another inch. Made of stainless steel Use to: Checks undercut, crown height, porosity, pits It comes with a bag for protection and storage.

Nice, with super sharp tip!
Excellent item, except the point is super sharp, making it more difficult to carry outside of the carrying case, as it pierces things easily, and it has an outward angle that makes it hard to align with the body of the gauge to prevent snags. Overall a nice pit gauge for finding the lowest spot in a pit.
