I did manage to wash it out successfully with warm water and soap, which I believe has to be done before I can use the regular beard dye again. It doesn’t quite last as long as a day, I am not even sure if it depends on how often you rinse your face or if you sweat, because as previously mentioned, it stipulates warm water and soap for removal. But it’s more than enough time to get your beard looking good whenever the need arises. It won’t replace the need for full on dye though, so it is more of a temporary fix.
