Awesome Multi Tool
Great piece of kit. Only used it a couple of times but it has paid for itself already. The ability to angle the cutting head is invaluable. Not to heavy to hold and use for an extended period of time. Feels like a quality product. But I guess time will tell. I have a number of Ryobi gardening tools and they are also good. But this Multi Tool is awesome. I would highly recommend it so far.

Really good quality products, I am very happy with it.
This is a very versatile machine, with adjustable head on it, for up and down cutting actions, I am very pleased with it, good quality product and works well with battery,

Great cutter, so-so sander
It is a great cutter, easy to use. As a sander I am not too sure. The sanding pads just vibrate off, I've got pads that have hardly been worn at all and they don't stick to the base plate anymore.

Why didn't I buy this earlier?
I bought this primarily for trimming kingspan loft insulation to shape, all while keeping one hand free to hold it in place. It's made this task effortless, in fact, I wish I'd bought it sooner as it would have saved so much frustration. It's also come in very useful for trimming wooden loft flooring in those awkward angles that force you to stop and really think about how to make a neat job of it, for which the adjustable head angle has been fantastic. Another good use I've put it to is plunge cutting holes for recessed wall sockets, it goes through plasterboard and OSB board like butter with a the right blade attached, but it also doesn't intimidate you like a circular saw sometimes does, it just gets on with it with minimum fuss until the next job. Using it with a sanding pad is not it's environment, yes it can do it, but it's nowhere near as good at it as a proper orbital or even what a palm sander can do. It can sand things, but it's not effective nor quick. Overall, I'm really glad that I bought this tool, but I now wish that it was one of the first ones that I'd bought until saving it for last. It's been totally reliable so far, I've no doubts as to it being a very useful tool in the future, providing I keep feeding it blades and stuff to do of course.

Great piece of kit
I've had my eye on one of these for some time after seeing a chippie at work in my house using it. I needed it for a simple task to do with levelling off some skirting boards and it worked like a charm. It's so easy and quick to use with a multitude of accessories and I've already got my eye on it further for some other DIY tasks. It's a lot more versatile and precise than I imagined. I had a look at the Ryobi and mainly compared it to the DeWalt. The one thing that I liked about this tool was that you can change the angle of the head. This feature has been very useful - and in fact more than I thought. I, unfortunately, had to buy into the Ryobi One+ system making it a steep value entry and actually this research and decision took longer than on the multi-tool itself. The Ryobi tools and system seem to get favourable reviews alike from both DIY and Trade folks and there are plenty of YouTube videos. I did plumb for the 5ah battery in order to able to use it for other tools requiring more power. The 5ah battery hasn't made it heavy or awkward to use but admittedly it was a bit of a risk. I also bought some additional accessories with the tool and they work well with the device's quick release system - although I've not seen any that don't work with this Ryobi. The only small gripe is that the quick release lever has a bit of a kick and can give you a sharp twang. If you already have a Ryobi One+ battery then it is a no-brainer. I'm very pleased with the device.

Brilliant multitool
I have an old multitool with the cord. It was difficult to exchange blades and it vibrates so hard. I did not like to use it unless I really need to. Then I watched one of the YouTube movie, reviewing this Ryobi multitool. The multi angle head seems so useful and the mechanism to change the blades looked so efficient. I have Ryobi impact driver with the battery, so I can use the battery I have. So I pull the trigger. It was one of the best shopping I have done in the past few years! It is light, sturdy and useful. Multi angle head is so useful. Changing blades is so easy and secure. It is much quieter than my old one and vibration is day and night. Switch holding and speed dial makes it so easy to work. This is perhaps the best multitool for home DIY. I can highly recommend it to anyone!
