Hello, i have purchased this cable so that i can connect my blu-ray player to my amplifer, but there is no sound coming through, is there a different

Hi Peter. I bought this to connect my surround system amp to my sub-woofer. The reason for this was because there were two outlets on the amp for audio, but only one connection on the sub-woofer. I would think that for a blu-ray player you would need a cable with two plugs on each end.

Can i use this to connect a sony bdp-s1500 coaxial digital output (single socket) to a sound bar which has the r/l rca inputs to send the sound too ?
