This is what I understand this light bulb to be: 1 watt usage 7 watt brightness. I needed a night light for me & my kitty--I need to avoid stepping on my her at night & a dim amber light without the blue light so she could also better enjoy her water fountains in the bedroom. I need to sleep & she needs to sleep. I needed to replace a very dim blue LED light that is not sold any more--extremely frustrating. This says only 7 watt brightness. The color glow is fabulous & it is dim indeed. The 7 watt brightness equivalent to the older incandescent light bulbs appears to be OK, I think; although, I would have appreciated a bulb that was just a tiny bit dimmer because it appears a bit brighter. I had to get a basket weave type shade & it works well & it very soothing & attractive at night. I must leave it on all night. For that reason, it could be a tiny bit dimmer. Be aware that the packages which contain more light bulbs are much stronger in light. There seems to be little demand & manufacturing of night time bulbs that are dim enough to sleep with all night long. I cannot use night lights plugged into the wall. My sockets are all used up & I need a light on top of a table--where I want it & need it--not near the floor & in odd places taking up the entire socket. I am happy with this light. There are simply no other options out there for anything better. I don't understand the demand for stronger amber light if you just want a night light or dim light near the TV that you leave on all night rather than turn off. I might look into an amber light for reading at night, too, but for now, I just need a night light. There should be reading light & sleeping light. So it is a 7 watt brightness--that's what it says. It is the lowest light brightness for night time available that I can see. Good for kitties, good for people, babies, etc.

This really does make a big difference. It does not wake me up! I have had a diagnosed sleep disorder (Delayed Sleep Phasic Disorder) for years now and have been looking for tweaks to improve my sleep schedule/quality of sleep and this helps! I use it at night, along with other "no blue light" products (such as a rechargeable little lamp that I use in the bathroom when getting ready for bed) that were purchased outside of Amazon (and they were very over-priced, which this is not, IMO). I got it months ago and use it a lot and it's holding up very nicely. I'm very happy with it. It's a quality product that requires no more effort than installing any other light bulb (i.e., it's extremely easy to use). If you are looking for ways to get a better night sleep, I think it could be a good addition for you (of course, if you scroll on your phone while using it, you will be completely defeating the purpose!).

Finally a bulb that's dim enough to be used as a nightlight. I do wish the price would come down though. I'd like to buy more but at $13 for a single bulb, it's not very budget-friendly.

I first bought the 1W bulb but it was too dim for reading. This higher wattage bulb provides enough light for reading and has a calming effect. I do believe it allows you to go to sleep easier.

These are packaged well with quality materials and nice clear descriptions and instructions in real English. I figured they had to be an American company and sure enough they say, "Designed and Headquartered in the Heart of Wisconsin - USA". The bulbs are equally of high quality. I bought the amber ones to use only where we use lights just before sleep such as bedside lights and one in the bathroom to use in the evening close to bedtime. They would be similar to the old bug lights people use to use on porches years ago but are much warmer and deeper in color than those old lights. I used the 7 watt equivalent by our and our son's bed and the 45 watt equivalent in the bathroom. At first it took some getting use to as they seem to have an antique rustic light about them similar to old oil lamps and candles. At night we felt like we were living in colonial days. But gradually we seemed to feel the difference when going to sleep and embraced it, now even relishing it! These do seem to be dimable in a light we have with a dimmer(dial) switch but flickered at certain points so it's not a smooth transition and didn't dim at all in another light we have that has a 3 stage switch. I feel these work better in the 7 watt version as used by the bedside. We use another 45 watt version for bedtime reading with our son and it works in that capacity as a dedicated light but I see now that they offer "Circadian Rhythm Full Spectrum LED" light bulbs that have 3 settings from full spectrum to night light mode and would work better for lights we may need for not only night time lights but also to use the full spectrum feature during early morning and evening lights. This specific brand came recommended from my natural doctor(for their red light therapy hand held light) and I was happy to take that recommendation since when you look this stuff up it's like a sea of Chinese made lights repacked and relabeled and sold by a slew of American sellers and you don't know what's really good and what's not. In that light I'd definately recommend these as they stand out among the others!

got this for night time in our living room and it works great! used it to help our kids settle down for the night.

We installed these in our master bedroom to use in the evening when winding down for bed. It’s nice to eliminate all LEDs and blue light before bed time. These put off a very strong red light.

10/10. Love my new lights. Make bedtime more relaxing.

Lo compramos para ponerlo en el cuarto. Lo usamos en la noche, antes de dormir, mientras estamos en el celular o viendo una pelicula. Nos ha servido mucho porque nos da sueño rápido. Para dormir con él es complicado, porque sí tiene mucha potencia, pero para ponerlo en la mesita de noche, para antes de dormir, está perfecto.

Product was well packaged and is of good quality . Think its expensive for what it is

Definitely has help with sleep!! Maybe even a bit with milestones? Must be that sleep energy!

Be aware on first use you’ll likely think WHOA my room looks like a or cello 💡😂 I thought yeahhh no way I’m getting used to this nor my partner who reads in bad. He gave it a night and adjusted. I did to within a day. Now I enter the room and it feels like dusk on holiday. It’s warm and nice. Gonna try it now for my sitting room. Alas when I now exit the soft lit rooms the normal white awful LEDS strike me as blindingly awful. If only we could get rid of the toxic write daylight if the new so called SMART street light and go to orange. Oh well, I guess their new listening capacity (I kid you not ) will keep us all safe #forusall and all).
