This works really well silver plate came a treat and it was a whole lot easier than cleaning with rubbing love it.

This was recommended by a friend. I was a bit sceptical but having used it now for my mothers silverplated cutlery I am amazed. If you like to keep your cutlery really shiny it’s worth buying. For bigger items you need to think carefully about how you’re going to put them in the hot water with the cleaning plate, as it’s quite small and with large dishes it’s a bit tricky. I would highly recommend it to anyone, so much easier than using cleaning cloth’s or liquid.

A great product, this plate saves me so much time when cleaning the silver, no more rubbing! I find soda works perfectly well as an agent.

I wish I had known of this silver cleaning method years ago. So effective and so simple.

We contacted seller to tell them that it made the silver go black, but they were not helpful. I do not recommend this product

OLD, Used Item! Not only did it NOT come with the protective blue cover showed in the video, it is badly warped, scratched and certainly not the new item I ordered. This is a sub standard item and NOT fit for purpose. Worst thing I have ever received from Amazon in terms of quality. This was obviously a RETURNED item and should have been thrown away! Will be asking for a full refund.

My wife likes to use this. She says it is easy to clean her silver with this plate instead of using polishing creams- she has arthritis in her fingers. It is also fast and leaves things shiny.

I love this cleaning plate, truly! But I should mention a few things- the company gives you virtually no instructions so I will. :-) 1. I use 1/4 cup or so of Arm and Hammer WASHING Soda (NOT baking soda) in about a quart of warm water. The container I use is plastic. It's actually one of those smaller plastic tubs with a lid, but large enough to hold the plate so it rests flatly on the bottom of the container. 2. Be sure to touch your article to the plate as you clean it. 3. You will get better results if you scrub your article with a soft toothbrush as you are resting it on the plate. I have found that a toothbrush is small enough to get into crevices and intricate work but gentle enough to not scratch the metal. 4. In a few moments, generally under 1 minute, heavy tarnish will be removed from your article. *NOTE* The plate really only takes off tarnish, it does not polish the article. Some folks in other reviews were disappointed with the plate, I believe, because they thought it would polish as well. What is the difference? If you have ever seen silver that is slightly, dull with a gold tinge you've probably seen what I would call untarnished but unpolished silver. Polished silver does not have tarnish, it is a bright, silver in color with a platinum/blue tinge and is very shiny. Please see the photos I uploaded of the candlesticks. The one on the left has been polished, the one on the right came straight out of the plate water. It's hard in the picture to see the difference, but in person it's definitely there. If you want polished silver (like I do) I recommend a quick swipe with a polishing cloth like Blitz. 5. After you soak a few things the stuff smells like sulfur, not great but what can you do? So you're probably wondering why I like this thing so much. Just take a look at the pretty terrible photos I uploaded of a silver plated ladle. What the cleaning plate is great for is silver that is so unbelievably tarnished you will NEVER get the tarnish off with a polishing cloth. Sadly I had quite a bit that fit that description and was really at a loss as to what to do with it. Thank goodness for the Nushine Magic Cleaning Plate!!!

I bought this for my mum as her original one she had for 25yrs. Just add lectric soda and boiling water. Best way to clean your jewellery. Highly recommended.
