Kärcher replacement gun G 160 for Kärcher high-pressure cleaners of classes K 2 to K 7 machines (2017 or older)

I have an old K.254 pressure cleaner and the existing hose was permanently fitted to the original gun, which became leaky. I had to cut the old gun apart to release the hose, which attached easily to the new gun and works well. Note that the hose shown in the pictures is not included - perhaps slightly misleading.

This item does NOT FIT! The clip that holds the cable in the trigger gun, is to big. Photo shows my existing clip( yellow)and the one that came with the new gun (black) I have tried it in my K2 AND K7. Hose just drops straight out! Not happy. Update I have been in constant touch with Karcher since buying this. They promised to help sort the issue, but have failed dismally. Take ages to reply to my emails completely ignoring what I'm telling them. So, now, I am unable to return this item, which is still in its packaging, as time for return has expired!! THIS IS RUBBISH!!! And I'm stuck with it and £25 lighter!!!! 😡 Another UPDATE. WARNING!!! After 3 months of Karcher being absolute k***s, keep asking for the same info to be sent as they couldn't find it in previous emails, 7 or there abouts, they have finally come back and told me, Oh It won't fit your model. You need to buy a NEW GUN AND HOSE KIT, at £77+ pounds!!! They sent a replacement gun, then sent another, absolutely clueless as to my problem(even though they had photos and explanations one after another. So, I'm stuck with 2 pistol guns I cannot return as Karcher have dragged thus out for so long!!! Anyone who would like one or both, check my photos, you need to have the YELLOW CLIP not the black, please respnd to this review. You can have both for the 25quid one cost me. Karcher, great products, after sales STINKS!!!!!!!

I have a rather old Karcher pressure washer which is equivalent to the current K3/K4. The pistol was the type that had the pressure hose connected to the back of the handle. It had started leaking badly from the trigger and the joint so I ordered this replacement. Which fitted the pressure hose perfectly using the U shaped circlip. What a difference, no leaks,less pulsing from the machine but more than this the delivered pressure has gone up both from the lance and for the Patio Racer. I can't explain why but there is no doubt the machine is delivering the sort of pressure it did when it was new. Additionally changing the attachments is easier and more secure due to a redesign of the front end with additional lugs to stop attachments rotating and therefore blowing off. Early days but very pleased so far. I will write again if I run into problems.

Exact replacement & at an ok price. Doesn't have the little pressure gauge built into the top of the handle but it's not a big loss. The plastic is very light and quite flimsy feeling though and i wouldn't want to drop it, as it would almost certainly crack easily !

A great replacement for the older style of pistol grip where the hose attaches at the bottom of the handle under the trigger grip. It was easy peasy to change. I was a little unsure if I had got the right one, there are two types of connector used by Karcher, one is held in by a 'C' clip that needs to be prised out with a flat bladed screwdriver and the other type is held in by a sprung clip. This gun is the manual 'C' clip type. It takes a minute or so to swap from the old gun the the new and works a treat. I can now clean my drive and patio again with ease. 10 out of 10.

Although I could get this to work it does not include the cable as shown in the listing - it is for the gun / handle only. The original had to be taken apart and the cable re-used with the new gun. Not a huge issue - but clearly not as shown in the picture.

Does the job when attached to the Lance but not to the Karcher car snow foam attachment, may be a bit missing but I can still use the machine so no hassle and I can't be bothered in returning it.
