Looks great in the box but take the two "sets" out and you find you've actually got two pans and one brush! Useless! The description is a con as it says it is a "dustpan and brush set" and when you order you have to order two (so the price doubles) but that's ok as I could use two. When they arrive however there are not two "sets" - you get one set and an extra dustpan. There is nowhere to leave seller feedback cos it's Amazon. There is nowhere in message centre to leave a message so do I return them? At my cost when it's not as described? Really disappointed in Amazon.

I bought this as others had said it was good for carpet. It isn't. It only has one row of bristles around the outside of the brush and is completely hollow inside. The bristles are also very soft and flexible which makes them next to useless on anything but hard floors. I also find the pan rather flimsy and the rubber edge bends with the slightest touch so it will probably break with a few uses. I know it's cheap but still, I was expecting more form a big name like this one.

Okay, I've purposely left the review of this Vileda dust pan/brush set until now (2 months ownership) as you really need to use something like this for a while to know if it's going to last. So many of these type of products look great but fail in a very short amount of time. Anyway, I ordered this direct from Amazon at a lowish price via their 'Add-on item' promo, being a prime member it arrived on time the following day and was immediately put to work! The pan is larger than the average you may see in your local supermarket etc and feels strong, not at all flimsy. The handle is also sturdy and just the right size for a comfortable grip. There's a rubber lip at the front of the pan that acts like a little ramp for whatever you are sweeping up and with the occasional *tap* to knock the dirt to the back of the pan you can carry on sweeping away until you have a fair amount to dispose of. The supplied brush is a reasonable size and manages to capture all the cat litter that our cat flicks around the litter tray and the surrounding 6ft area! (if you own a cat you will know what I mean) it also clears fluff with ease (something that normally clogs up lesser brushes). The last feature worth mentioning (this is a dust pan and brush set after all and not some high-end TV) is the fact that the manufacturer has made a brush handle that fits inside the pan handle - genius! it's a good snug fit too which means the brush doesn't fall out of the pan each time you put it away - has to be 5 stars for that alone! And for those wondering, yes the brush and pan set are still going strong after 2 months continuous daily use.

This is a very good dust pan and brush. It was also at a good price. The whole thing is very light to hold and the size of it is very good. It picks up dust and any other bits you need to collect. It’s light but very sturdy as well. I have bought dust pan brushes before and they don’t even pick the rubbish up due to the little rubber bit at the bottom of the pan. This one is perfect

This is our 3rd purchase of this set over the years. The last ones lasted 2 or 3 years each. Each has been good quality except for this most one. The weight of this is lighter, the plastic is brittle and the brush softer and has less bristles . The pan has a curved edge so the edge doesn't catch dust as swept up. I do understand shrinkflation has and will have an impact but the plastic on this version is similar quality to that of one you would find in a bargain shop.. It's feels like it would break in a child's hand. This is my last vileda brush and pan purchase, time to look at other brands.

The pan is nice and solid, but the brush hardly has any bristles, and they are soft! There is one layer of bristles around the edges, but nothing in the middle. Might manage cake crumbs on a vinyl floor, which might be enough for some people, but I need something stronger than that!

What can i say about a Dust Pan and Brush Set? it's nice and light and the bristles are nice and soft and i would recommend buying one yourself, however, i knocked a star off for the delivery it was their usual 0/5 rubbish. What is the point of leaving delivery instructions when the driver doesn't keep to them, and to make it worse for Amazon, and as i said in the delivery instructions, knock on the door or use the brass door knocker simple request. I am indoors 24/7 due to my health and i sit in a room that's near the front door so i can easily hear a knock on the door. Anyway, i digress, if you need a Dust Pan and Brush and from Vileda as well, you can't beat this one.

Review for Vileda Dust Pan & Brush Set Needed a new dust pan and brush which good timing had this offer appear. Long gone are the days of buying supermarket / hardware store specials. Never thought buying a dust pan and brush would make too much of a difference until this one arrived. This is an example of when buying branded does pay off. The Brush itself is well made and very comfortable to hold with its cylindrical handle being of a good size. Much better than the standard flat type that we have had in the past. I also particularly like how the handle slides in to the handle of the pan. The bristles on the brush are soft yet brilliant at doing the job. Sweeping up spillages seems to be quicker as the fine bristles sweep most of it in the one sweep. The pan itself is again well made as far as plastic goes. The plastic is sturdy with the handle again being of a nice shape and easy to hold. The rubber lip is fixed well and retains its shape even if accidentally squashed in the cupboard as we have found out. Summary ======= A perfect example of why paying a little more pays dividends. A brilliant dust pan and brush that should the need arise I would buy again

Good solid construction and with the flexible pan edge does allow all of the dust to be swept into the pan.
