Do they go wavy in the sun?

They are solid plastic and have several holes in so they can be secured flat to the fence. I have not heard of them going wavy.Thank you,John

People considering various perimeter security solutions to bolster security around their homes and work premises often ask: Are anti climb spikes legal? The answer to this question is: yes they are - but you need to use them in accordance with the law. anti climb spikes and other anti climb precautions can be used legally in the UK as long as appropriate warning signage is presented and the anti climb barrier will not cause a nuisance. The term `nuisance` refers to anything which might cause harm to people or animals so its always important to use anti climb precautions with consideration and common sense. So if you have these spikes, Make sure there are warning notices. They are included in the contents. This is how I interpreted the rules.

Do they bend. So I can attach to the top of an arched wooden gate?

Yes, the strip of spikes are flexible to bend, they also have grooves so the the strip can be bent over and cut into quarters. Wear protective gloves when fitting the strips, the spikes are sharp.
