This is a Brand new SOLARBURST 400 watt METAL-HALIDE Super MH-T bulb that gives off a blue/white light. This bulb is perfect for all types of applications from:out of season growing in commercial greenhouses to station forecourts to stadium and street floodlighting, with the highest lumen output on the market they have top fog penetration ability and are tweaked to have the perfect wavelength and the highest lumen output for plant growth. RETURNS POLICY: ALL hydroponic shops and other HID bulb suppliers offer NO refunds on this type of bulb. For the following reasons: 1.Just as little as a finger print on the surface of the glass combined with the high temperature the bulb gives off can cause the bulb to crack this can take hours or months to happen. This is not to mention all other liquids even just water on the glass jackets surface will cause this. 2. If the bulb is not screwed in tightly enough this can cause an electical"ark" to occur at the base of the bulb which can either burn the bulb out completely or over various time scales reduce the life expectancy of the bulb. 3. If a bulb is used with the wrong sized or type of ballast or used in very hot non-ventilated conditions this will cause similar problems. 4. When the bulbs are manufactured they are designed with vacuum conditions inside the glass jacket if the bulb receives a sudden contact this can cause a minute crack to appear inside the metal screw cap area at the base, which will let just enough pressure in to neutralise the vacuum and render the bulb useless. On HPS bulbs this is evident when the metallic colour inside the glass jacket beneath the brand stamp turns white. 5. Continuous none stop use for as little as a week, can cause poor life expectancy. There are so many different factors involved it's hard to determine who is at fault, hence: RETURNS WILL ONLY BE EXCEPTED AND HAPPILY EXCHANGED, AT A MAXIMUM OF 7 DAYS AFTER RECEIPT OF YOUR ORDER.
