You only get about six dried peppers but I wanted to try the real thing again. The aroma given off is great it's kind of fruity smoky. They are very hot they are meant to be but they also have this wonderful smoky fruity flavour as well and when you cook with them you'll get some of that aroma coming off. I'm guessing here but I would say a quarter of a dried chilli chopped up it's probably enough to make one perhaps two or even three portions of curry really hot and very flavoursome. I have had one fresh Naga chili and it lasted me a month I would just cut Wafer thin slices off it and that was enough to flavour a portion of curry. If you want a more economical way I suppose you buy a bigger packet of them or you could try Mr Naga which is a Sauce made from the Naga Chile, half a level teaspoon of it per portion of curry and it will blow your head off unless you are a masochist. Even my Indian friend complained it was too hot what a wimp what a baby. I am not Indian I am indigenous white British and male but I do cook Indian food and have done for 55 years. I'm going to review Carolina reaper next what a wonderful name.

i can eat one of them on its own and they are hot, but once they are cooked in a sauce or soup, they unleashe their full potential and feel like eating lava so hot that the jaw bone marrow hurts like h@ll. lol

I was trying to find the best chilli to add to Phall recipe I’d seen, and these were recommended. The recipe called for 6 dried Ghost chilli peppers, rehydrated and chopped before adding to the ghee and slowly mixed in with the onions, garlic, spices and 5 chopped fresh finger chillis. However I must confess that I chickened out and used only three ghost peppers. The phall turned out great in the end but it did need tweaking with the heat, it wasn’t as scorching as I had expected. I have since cooked a second batch and used the recommended amount of Ghost peppers and it did boost the heat considerably. My next purchase from the same suppliers was a tub of Carolina reaper chilli peppers, I believe them to be the hottest chilli pepper on the scale. This should be quite something to taste. Anyway…great product, packaged in a little resealable plastic tub and delivered in good time. 10/10 from me.
