As with all things, trial and error is sometimes the best measure. Using the recipe measures, produced an end result with the required flavour but ferociously hot. The next batch I reduced the amount of the chilli with much better results. A good authentic product and you get plenty of bang for your buck Review: Excellent Value and Flavor - I recently purchased Hot Red Pepper Powder Flakes, and I’m very pleased with the product. The pack is surprisingly large, much bigger than I expected, and it’s significantly cheaper compared to the small pack I bought from a Korean shop. The flakes have a great, mild taste that’s perfect for making Kimchi. The only downside is the packaging; you’ll need to transfer the flakes into a bottle or herb box for easier use. Overall, it’s a fantastic value and a quality product. ## Features - BUNDLE OF 2 - This is a bundle of 2 packs of MASHIDA Gochugaru Korean Red Chilli Pepper Flakes Powder 500g. - PREMIUM QUALITY - Starry Mart Gochugaru Hot Red Pepper Powder Flakes are crafted from carefully selected red peppers, ensuring a high-quality and flavourful product. - DISTINCTIVE TEXTURE - These small flakes boast a ground texture, providing a unique and satisfying crunch to your dishes. - VERSATILE USAGE - Perfect for seasoning stews, soups, marinades, or sprinkling on snacks, these flakes add a distinctive and authentic kick to a variety of dishes. - RESEALALBLE PACKAGE - The resealable packaging ensures freshness and convenience, allowing you to use these pepper flakes at your own pace while keeping them at their best. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BTYWHZHJ | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | 14,535 in Grocery ( See Top 100 in Grocery ) 20 in Chilli Seasoning | | Brand | Starry Mart | | Brand Name | Starry Mart | | Coin Variety 1 | red pepper | | Container Type | Pack | | Country of Origin | Korea, Republic of | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 263 Reviews | | Diet Type | Halal | | Flavour | Red Chilli Pepper | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Package Weight | 0.52 Kilograms | | Item Weight | 0.5 Kilograms | | Item form | Powder | | Manufacturer | Starry Mart | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Number of items | 1 | | Produce Sold As Format | Pre-packaged | | Produce sold as | Pre-packaged | | Region of Origin | China | | Unit Count | 500.0 gram | | Unit count | 500.0 gram | | Variety | red pepper | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Starry Mart - **Item form:** Powder - **Number of items:** 1 - **Unit count:** 500.0 gram - **Variety:** red pepper ## Images ![Starry Mart Hot Red Pepper Powder Small Flakes (Gochugaru Korean Chilli Powder) 500g HALAL (Pack of 1) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61hL5UAcXSL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is it grown in Korea?** A: Hi the packaging says product of China.
