Good value introduction.
Found this very useful in setting up our first off-grid PV systems in UK. In a few places it seems USA oriented. No index, but the detailed Contents list helps.We used it for a 12 V system with lead acid batteries, and it covers panels in series and parallel, shading, battery charging, PWM and MPPT solar charge controllers, inverters.Does not cover the internals of the solar panels eg half cut panels. Mentions bypass diodes. Could be clearer on blocking diodes, especially how to select diodes. Coverage of "shunts" (to measure current) could be clearer.
