Amazing detail and great to assemble
Really enjoyed making these models, intricate and fiddly but very rewarding. Able to customise them with multiple uses and with or without canopy. Using the QLT in a large diorama I am building.

A bit pricey for what you get
Nice little model of the Wilys Jeep with the emphasis on the word little. Enjoyable build with the parts going together nicely although some very small delicate parts as well. Only downside is the price for the kit given the size of it once it's fully completed.

Small
This willys jeep is a bit on the small side but all the parts look good and well made just painted them and all go together we’ll definitely recommend this one think it on a leave 2 to make

Paint the little bits first!!!
After enjoying the children's airfix kit I recieved one christmas a good while ago (one that was already painted and just snapped together), I've been meaning to get more. Now I'm 21 with nothing better to do, I thought I'd give it a shot. This was a great little model. Plenty of attention to detail and it looks great. There were a few bits and pieces that needed sanding down, but it was largely without hassle!Unfortunately, I had the idea that I could paint it afterwards successfully. Once it's fully glue together, you can only reach about 80% of the visible model. I especially recommend painting the wheels and tracks before gluing them on, and run a paint through the suspension before attaching the wheels themselves!Paint and glue aren't included, but I assume you all already knew that ;)

Very well detailed but overpriced!
The kit is incredibly small for the price you’re paying. I don’t know how Airfix are getting away with the pricing of this kit. Especially when they’re pricing bigger vehicles in the same scale for £8.00+. I think the kit is very well details with lots of variant options and accessories for customisation. I decided to make an SAS North Africa variant.
