Having never owned an ice cream scoop I was limited in my scope for comparison; but following my partners cancer treatment, ice cream became her favourite food source. I began with the standard soup spoon which broke even with quality ice cream then the dessert spoon and quickly followed on to the ladle but still the ice cream needed to be out of the freezer for half an hour before it could be eaten. I'm pleased to say that this scoop did prove "Eazi" to me, I am now able to take ice cream directly from the freezer and without difficulty serve perfect scoops and without running under hot water as well. We do not currently have a dishwasher so the fact that it isn't dishwasher proof is not an inconvenience, but even If we had I would have no concerns with washing this by hand. I can recommend this 100% great value and great product.

I bought one of these years and years ago in the USA having never seen one in UK at that time. It stood the test of time and only had to be replaced because someone in my household made the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher which ruined it. We've used this new one a couple of times and it works brilliantly. And it looks nicer than the old one too. A good product.

This is the most amazing product. It really works. Just hold it in your hand for a minute or two to warm it up and it scoops the coldest ice cream perfectly. Just scoops or neat balls if you wish. I have shown it to friends who love it so much they went off to buy one. Just remember NOT to put it in the dishwasher or you ruin the gel inside the handle. Not a hardship for the ease of use and the great results you get.

It's not bad for an ice cream scoop and while I wouldn't say it doesn't work neither is it the best ever. The hand heat transferred to the gel in the inside of the scoop does help to some degree but I still found very hard long term freezer ice cream pretty difficult to scoop out fluidly. The bowl is also on the small side but on the whole not a bad product for the price. Company delivered very quickly and it was well packaged.

I make my own ice cream which tends to be really hard. Ordinary spoons were bending when scooping it out so I bought this scoop and it is really sturdy and does the job very well. The ice cream forms in nice curls too so better presented. Very pleased.

This scoop is brilliant. It does make the perfect balls but, to be honest, only from ice cream in tubs which are more horizontal and you can pull the scoop through. It works much less well on the tall pots of ice cream because you can't roll the ice cream through the scoop. However, having said that, it still works better in these containers than either a spoon or a conventional scoop. I've bought two more for ice cream loving friends and family!

I don't know if it's me or if I got a faulty one but this ice cream scoop does not work. First world problem I know, but if I pay for something I expect it to do what it is supposed to do. The scoop did not heat up when I held the handle, nor when I ran the handle under hot water. I think I will be going back to heating up two spoons in a mug of hot water and then using them alternately to excavate ice cream from the tub. This scoop is likely to be relegated to the garden, it looks like it could be useful for getting weeds up.

I have a pampered chef one of these but they no longer make them as silly people have put them in very hot water or dishwasher so they were recalled! One of sons wanted one so I bought him this Eazi Scoop one which works as well as pampered chef one. So then other son wanted one hence my second purchase. They are really good but there all need hand washing in just warm water and there is no problem. It arrived on time and is very good price.
