Wider pipe than I had expected, so not perfect for draining petrol from a mower, but the siphon priming does work very well.

DO NOT BUY TO SYPHON PETROL FROM UK OR EUROPEAN CARS !!!If I could give 0 stars i would .I needed to syphon £30 petrol out a car to go for scrapThe copper end to the hose stuck in the entrance to the petrol tank entrance , if that wasnt bad enough the hose then became detached ,the copper end totally blocked the tank and couldnt be removed .I therefore lost half a tank of petrol and had my car not been going to scrap would have had to pay for the copper end removed too !!Amazon gave a speedy refund for the syphon . I intend to contact the suppliers 😡

I never knew things like this existed till we bought a narrowboat and had to refuel manually. I refuelled from a 20 litre jerrycan and although a moment of patience is required, along with adhering to the instructions, fuel was soon flowing and at a surprising rate considering there’s no assistance from a pump. I’m glad I ordered a pair as this device has numerous uses so one for fuel and one for cleaner use. Brilliant.

Once I mastered the technique, I found this very easy to use and also found many applications for it.
