Nice cover at a fair price
A nice saya at a very fair price. It fit my Misono 240cm gyuto very well. Would not fit my Wusthof chef knife because the spine is too thick but I was purchasing it for the Swedish Dragon regardless. I added a few coats of lemon oil to protect the wood. Quite happy with my purchase.

Right size for my Mercer knife
It fits my Mercer knife, that was a hand me down, from a friend. I did oil it with mineral oil, and waxed it, like all of my saya that I own. Seems sturdy and will last me years

Way smaller than advertised
Looks very nice, but is way smaller than advertised. Bought for my 240mm gyoto knife, very tight fit. Doesn't fit all the way in the sheath

Does not fit
I’m a chef and need a new knife cover for my knife this doesn’t fit my knife size longer and doesn’t stay it keep falling off. I’m not sure what cover that can fit my knife

Wooden scabbard.
The scabbard is very well made. My knife fit perfectly. If you need protection from a sharp knife it is excellent. I would buy again.

Not the best, but good
It fits almost perfect to my 9 in kinkuichi knife. As soon as I slide my knife in, it crack just a little, but my knife is a little thick so I can see that happening most of the time. Other than that, good product

Sizing not accurate
The opening is smaller than 2inches as advertised. I wasn’t able to fit my knife into this saya.

Fit on my gyuto knife

Wood not treated, retaining pin is too short
Wood is not treated, so if it gets damp, it will be moldy. The retaining pin is also too short to reach the other hole. It is also not tapered, so it's difficult to pull it out (had the pin be longer, at least I can push from the other hole to remove the pin). Need to oil the wood myself and modified the retaining pin for it to be usable.
