Anti-Dandruff Shampoo with 1% Ketoconazole, 14 Fl Oz, Fresh Scent, Anti Fungal Shampoo

After trying what feels like every dandruff shampoo on the market, Nizoral is the one I keep coming back to. It has been one of the most effective products I've found for controlling dandruff, scalp irritation, and itching. What sets it apart from many other shampoos is the ketoconazole. While other dandruff shampoos would help for a day or two, Nizoral seemed to make a real difference. Within a couple of weeks, I noticed far fewer flakes, much less itching, and a healthier-feeling scalp overall. One thing that surprised me was that it also helped an itchy patch on my chest. I started using a small amount there while showering, let it sit for a few minutes, and the irritation gradually improved. Obviously everyone's skin is different, but that was an unexpected bonus for me. The shampoo lathers well, has a clean scent, and you do not need much product per use. Even though it costs more than basic dandruff shampoos, a bottle lasts a long time because you only use it a couple of times per week. In the past I had a large overgrowth of fungus or something causing danderful or something like unto cradle cap all over my head, suffered from constant itch and my hair wasn't growing in very good... I have been using this product for a few weeks now and already the itch and constant build up of oil and dead skin cells is almost non exsistant... I actually allowed myself to go for a week to see if it would come back and it hasn't, nor has the horrible itch. It leaves my hair looking and smelling nice. I can see new growth as my hair is white, fine and what is new is standing straight up. I love the peppermint and the tea tree oil is great for killing fungus and bacteria... I even started to use this on my feet and areas where I deal with H.S. and its really helped me. It lasts even between shampoos and is a great value for the price. It is highly effective if you suffer from dandruff and other scalp and skin issues.

Worked better than I thought it would I have occasional dandruff but I have an issue with itching in my beard area and my eyebrow area if I don't shave at least every 48 hours. This has solved that problem. No more itching and what dandruff flakes I have are almost all gone. The smell is OK but it does a fantastic job. For the last two months I haven't had an issue with dandruff or itching at all.

After using it again, I was reminded why I keep coming back to it. The results were dramatic even after just one use. The price might feel a little high for the amount you get, but the results have always been worth it for me. If your dandruff is severe, I would recommend leaving the shampoo on your scalp for a few minutes before rinsing instead of washing it off immediately. If one use doesn't completely clear it up, use it again every few days for another two or three treatments. That's usually enough to get rid of the dandruff for me. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will continue to keep this in my bathroom whenever dandruff starts coming back.

Works for dandruff and has a good scent. If you are like me and have struggled with dandruff your whole life you may need to get a prescription for a Ketoconazole 2% shampoo. Those have worked the best for my extreme case and with Amazon Pharmacy it's not too difficult to get prescribed. I eventually wasn't getting enough scalp relief and long-term results with this product compared to prescribed medicated shampoo, but it works well-enough in some cases.

Off and on for years my son has had these sore spots on his scalp. When he was younger the doctor gave him a prescription shampoo that would clear it up. We moved several years ago and we have a well with very hard water. My son and I both started getting these sores on our scalps. His was much worse than mine, and worse than what it used to be. Normally just plain ol dandruff shampoo would clear his up pretty quickly, but that wasn't working anymore. I assumed that it had something to do with our hard water and mineral build up, since I started having the same issue. Even if I didn't have the sores, I would have dandruff really bad. We moved to a very dry climate from a very humid climate, so I wasn't sure if that had anything to do with it. I'd actually had dandruff for a while before the sores started up. I would use dandruff shampoo to no avail. My hair had gotten very long and during the winter I would only wash it every other night. When I skipped a wash my scalp would be 10x worse! I have no idea what was going on with both of our scalps, but I decided to do some research and this shampoo was recommended. I ordered this and some selsun blue. He was using each one 2x a week, alternating days. I used this shampoo twice and mine cleared up and hasn't been back. I still use it occasionally, once every couple of weeks, and that's been enough for me. I'm not sure what we had going on, but it cleared things up fairly quickly. It saved us from having to make a trip to the doctor to get a prescription shampoo again. I just cut his hair today and his scalp looks perfect. He doesn't itch his head anymore, no more red sore spots, and no flakes. As I said above, he uses it a lot more than me, but even though I only use it every few weeks it seems to keep things at bay. It lathers really well even in our hard well water and it smells wonderful. It leaves my hair feeling clean and soft, and my scalp feeling healthy and happy. I'm very glad to have found this shampoo and I will definitely be ordering more when we get low. This will be a staple from now on!

Great value for money. The bottle was much bigger than I expected, so it should last a while. I’ve struggled with dandruff for some time, and this shampoo was really soothing on my scalp. It’s easy to use, and the scent isn’t bad either. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase.
