Starter or pro good to go
Out of the box great product, the quality feeling in the hands is a big plus. Came with a battery tray for 218650's for some real battery life. Also utilizing usb-C pass thru charging. Took some learning to get the adjustments tune'ed but after some time i was speeding around myself with a tiny whoop. Has some cool games on there as well helps get your fingers broken in. Overall id buy another.

Best transmitter ever!
I’ve had this for two flying seasons. I love it, will be buying one for my son soon. Works flawlessly, has great range, and is so comfortable; even when I’m at the flying field for hours. Don’t waste your money on spectrum products, you don’t need it.

Awesome transmitter that controls almost everything!
I absolutely LOVE this radio! The Boxer feels great in the hands and the Hall Sensor Gimbals are AWESOME! Also, this particular one is unique (transparent Orange). I got the 4 in 1 version because I fly a lot of micro planes and toy grade drones. One TX to control them all! I recently dropped it as i was carrying a bunch of things and was terrified of the height that it fell from. But to my surprise, it only had a tiny scratch so I can say it is DEFINITELY more durable than it looks! Arrived on time.. I have nothing negative to say about this purchase experience.

My Everyday Go-To Radio – Reliable, Smooth & Built to Last!
The RadioMaster Boxer has become my everyday driver, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The Hall gimbals are buttery smooth, giving me precise control every time, whether I’m flying freestyle, racing, or cruising long range. The build quality is top-notch, and it feels solid in my hands without being too heavy. The ergonomics are perfect for long sessions, and I love how easily it fits in the included carry case — super convenient for travel or heading out to the field. Setup was straightforward, and the Boxer plays nicely with all my quads. From the responsive controls to the reliable connection, this radio gives me the confidence I need to push my flying every session. If you want a dependable, pro-level transmitter for daily use, this is the one. Highly recommend!

Compact transmitter with all kinds of features
It's much cheaper than Spektrum transmitters and with more features. eg. you can use large capacity Lipo battery. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't come with an instruction. And I had to search on Youtube to figure out how to bind etc. But it's not a big deal. The one I received is brand new. Unlike some other purchases I did on Amazon, once a while got a used version. Thumbs up for the seller.

vertical learning curve
if you're thinking about ordering the boxer start watching videos now. After an extremely painful few hours I'm never looking back and you won't either. I ordered the boxer because I don't want 10 pound radio the size of a bread box when I'm flying and I'm flying not looking at the screen, So not as concerned about the nice color touchscreen. If you can Manage the small screen and learn to navigate the system, Boxer might be a good choice otherwise you probably want the TX 16 S if you're a fixed wing pilot with a helicopter or two. I'm not gonna buy the TX 16 though I'm totally happy with this guy but it's very user unfriendly at first then it gets better, much. Extremely powerful. Bottom line if you're willing to learn and take the time you can escape spectrum ecosystem radio trap, And still fly dsmx planes no problem. One reason the boxer are selling more lately is the micro war birds, Fully compatible out of the box you want the multi 4 in 1 not the elrs, when setting it up set receiver config to multi and then go for v761, This will work with all the war birds eachine volantex etc. Also using on eflite habu air tractor and a infusion 180 heli. 👍🏻🙂 Couldn't be more satisfied even though I was a little doubtful I'd get stumped as I consider myself tech savvy for my age. It's not a learning curve it's a learning cliff, You have to unlearn everything you thought you knew bout rc radios. Once I figured out everything it was like walking into a brand new day. switching to radio master was a good move. That said if you're comfortable with spectrum and their exorbitant radio prices they don't kid around when they say BNF and Close loop ecosystems can be great. For example I use an old Apple SE that never fails. But I can't afford the top-of-the-line Apple or a phone that doesn't work very well so I stick with the cheap closed loop phone. But when I can buy a radio that just honestly destroys spectrum technology for a fraction of the price if I'm willing to just learn well I just had to and I'm glad I did.

Remote Possibilities
Obligatory Haiku: Flimsy plastic shell Oversize for my big hands Back bumper sticks bad These controllers came highly recommended by all the cool drone pilots on YouTube. I was so excited to join the club and take my drone skills to the next level with this "pro" controller. But when it arrived, I was pretty underwhelmed. The plastic casing felt cheap and creaky, especially for the premium price tag. After charging it up, I took it out for a spin. The controller was way too bulky for my hands. I couldn't comfortably reach all the buttons and sticks. The sticks and ergonomics kind of require you to pinch them between your fingers, which felt unnatural for me. I thought I would get used to it, but after a few flights, my hands were cramping up. The biggest letdown was the back bumper button. It would constantly get stuck mid-flight. No matter how many times I took it apart and cleaned it, the problem persisted. At this point, I knew it was time to cut my losses. I returned this overhyped controller and bought the Radiomaster Pocket instead. It's the perfect size for my hands, all the buttons work flawlessly, and it was a fraction of the price. My drone skills have reached new heights, and I've never looked back. So in summary, this controller gets 3 stars from me. Unless you have giant hands and fingers of steel, it's just too bulky and poorly made for the price. I'd tell any pilot to avoid the hype and try the Radiomaster Pocket instead.
