These files were purchased for general metal working and more specific knife making. They cut well on all steels so far - 1020/1080 Damascus probably being the hardest - and perform as I required them to. They are comfortable in the hand and you can use them for a long period of time with no issues. Good price which always helps too. A pouch would be a nice addition to these files - even at an extra costs - from Draper but you know what you are buying from the description

Excellent tools, just the job for the main 4 files you might need. Robust build and comfortable handles make these easy to use with good results Don't forget to clean them regularly with an off cut of copper pipe to keep them in good order and ready for their next job. The copper pipe, when scraped in line with the grooves of the file makes its own grooves [VVVVV] and cleans out the debris -simples!

I've had a few cheap files over the years, but the ones I've got were too coarse for the job I had in mind, so decided to get this set to complement them. I'm very pleased with them - as they're quite fine the job was fairly slow-going - but they gave a nice finish. I used the flat file, and the semi-circular file and I'm pleased with the results. The handle is comfortable, and they have a hole in the handle for hanging them up in the garage. They seemed to be the best option on Amazon for what I wanted them for, and I'd buy them again.

These are great. They work superbly well and I've had no issues with the blades falling out of the handles... Even if they did I'd just welding epoxy them back in and they'd never fall out again! A must-have for any budding crafter, new or experienced.

Bought them as a present for my son who needed files and didn't have any good ones and couldn't go out due to the Bl00dy Boris lockdown Covid-19 panic.

I bought this set to primarily for the half round and smaller file and for woodworking rather than metal working. The tools appear to be well made, with synthetic rubber handles with a useful mounting hole. I cannot comment on their longevity but have been happy with my previous Draper purchases.

these are very good, you can tell they have some quality compared to some cheap as chips ones. worth every penny.

Received the 4 set today and no flat file in the package. Got two of the same half round files!

Buen juego completo de limas, ni muy finas ni muy bastas. Son bastante grandes de tamaño y tienen muy buen agarre. Si necesitas un juego para tus cosillas domésticas, creo que son perfectas y cubrirán las necesidades de cualquiera.
