Garnier SkinActive Micellar Foaming Face Wash, For Oily Skin, 6.7 fl oz

I was devastated when my favorite cleanser was recently discontinued, and I've been on a quest since then. I tried the regular micellar water by Garnier, but using it correctly was rough (basically, you can't just swipe it on the way you would a toner; you have to use soaked cotton pads to "wash" the skin like you would use your fingers and hands with a soap cleanser, and that kind of friction on my skin, even with the gentlest cotton, created some redness on my reactive skin). With this gel in-shower product I have found my answer at last! This cleans well but does not strip the skin, which is very important for me and is a feature that many people don't understand. In years past, we've cleaned ourselves with such harsh products that we've learned crave lots of bubbles, lots of slip, a squeaky you-could-eat-food-off-this-body-it's-so-clean kind of feeling…but that is TERRIBLE for our skin! This cleanser helps get the unwanted stuff off the skin, but maintains a healthy moisture barrier and keeps all the good stuff. It's not great removing waterproof makeup, but regular cleansers rarely are; you need special makeup remover solutions for that. But for general day to day use, this is the thing! It's not a thick gel, and one pump will usually suffice for a face full of light makeup and/or sunscreen. Of note, there are two formulas (one in pink and one in green), but the ingredient lists are identical. (Also, I've found that it is miraculous in cutting through that weird film that deodorant leaves behind. In the shower, I wash my face with this, then my pits, and all skin is fresh and happy!)

Disclaimer-- I'm using my dad's Amazon account to write this review I absolutely love this cleanser!! I was looking for a gentle cleanser to start out with and I saw this. It was very inexpensive and I love Garnier products. I cannot believe how gentle it is. It doesn't burn or itch. It makes my skin feel clean, but not dry. I use it as a makeup remover at night, and it gets everything by eyeliner. I recently found out that they also sell this for sensitive skin, but I can't imagine it being any gentler! It smells wonderful and does a great job for the money. It only take 1, maybe 2, pumps. I have had a bottle of it for 2 months and I'm only halfway done with it!

No skin irritation, cleans my oily skin wonderfully. Good quality. Won’t leave your skin moisturized because it’s for oily skin but won’t dry it out either.

I have been using this cleanser for about five weeks, and it does a great job with cleaning my face. You don't have to use a lot to get the job done. It does not foam the way most would expect when you hear the term foam. I purchased the "all skin types" cleanser, and I have combination skin. I am of African descent, and it works well for me. It does not irritate you eyes, and removes make up well. Also it helps with controlling acne. The bottle last reall y long with regularly face washing.

I love everything about this. Simple to use. I recently discovered it's now available in a smaller size. This and a cotton ball, and I'm good to go. It removes the grit and grime from a hard day's work. It's one of the best products I have found in the forty-odd years of wearing all types of makeup. I recommend it for every skin type at any age. Ladies, I believe you will love it too. Save money and space in one step.

I was sad that Garnier discontinued my preferred foaming face wash and so I decided to give this one a try. I'll have to keep looking for a replacement. It works fine. It does keep my face clean. But it has a smell that I really do not care for. The product boasts how it has "No Fragrance", but it sort of needs it. I describe the smell like "wet dog" and when you're washing your face, you really don't need that smell while you're trying to wash yourself. I'm sure most people won't be bothered by the scent (and it isn't like it sticks around after you rinse), but it's enough for me to pass on getting this ever again. Should be noted, this isn't a "foaming" face wash even though it's called that.

I have spent years taking off my makeup with cotton pads and whatever liquid makeup remover is on sale. It's great - but I feel guilty throwing away so many cotton pads, and I also just hate rubbing my eyes so much to get the makeup off. With the cleanser, I feel like I can get a good amount of makeup off and it leaves my skin feeling great. I do usually follow up with a little cotton swab or cut a little bit from a cotton pad or something to get the last bits of makeup out of my eyes (this stuff can kind of sting). Overall I feel like my face is getting a nice cleanse and I'm being a bit less wasteful. I really love this stuff and will definitely keep repurchasing.

Discovered this from Target and decided to give it a try since I no longer liked to use the neutrogina one. It doesnt look like it would foam since it almost looked like water. Scent is very clean and minimal so its not super fragrancey. It washes off make up very well and ive loved it ever since. Doesnt leave my skin drying as some products do as I have sensitive skin. After usage, i also dont break out which is good. Unfortunately Target for some odd reason no longer carries this but was very excited to see amazon does. Will be buying this product from now on for makeup removal.

Es muy ahorrativo, te dura más o menos 2 meses y te deja la piel muy limpia y suave. No deja sensación de aceite y no deja la piel seca.

amo como limpia mi rostro, mi único detalle es que me arden un poco los ojos pero remueve muy bien el maquillaje
