Great heat protectant! It leaves my hair soft, shiny, and smooth after styling with no sticky residue. I use it before blow drying and flat ironing, and it really helps prevent damage. The scent is light and pleasant. A little goes a long way, definitely a must have in my hair routine!

This product offers great value for the money. Although it's an older item, it still works well and isn't greasy. I used this in my teenage years, and the formula hasn’t changed. It helps to straighten out the ends of my hair compared to not using it. I haven't come across it in a while; I believe you can only find it here and at some beauty stores. It definitely deserves five stars from me.,

When I 1st tried this product I was a bit confused. When I sprayed it on my hair ( I use it on dried hair before flatironing) it didn't make my hair damp, it feels almost like a "dry oil" if that makes sense. There was definitely an oil type residue on my hands after working it thru my hair. I thought for sure I would hate it but went ahead and flatironed my hair. I will say that it left my hair super soft and shiny, and ultimately not greasy. And I go thru this every time I use it. I think it's going to leave my hair oily, but it somehow doesn't. I definitely think it works amazing as a heat protection. It smells pretty good ( not as chemically as others I have tried) My hair is fairly dry and pourous and prone to frizz which may be why it's not oily by the time I'm done heat styling. If you have very fine, thin hair that tends to be oily, this product may not be for you. I typically wash and heat style my hair twice a week and my hair still looks and feels soft and silky between wash days. It works well for me, but I don't think this would be ideal for very fine, thin, oil prone hair.

I haven’t heat styled my hair in over 10 years but since I just bought the ellesye two in one tool I knew I needed to find a heat protectant. After reading lots of reviews and remembering how overwhelming the chi serum smells and that paul mitchell skinny serum left my hair too greasy, I went with this one. I chose this one mostly because other reviewers said it smelled so good and because there’s no alcohol in it. So glad when they include ingredients! This does the job well, a little bit goes a long way and my hair has a nice shine without being greasy. I don’t smell burning hair since this is a silicone product, I have used product that was meant to protect hair from heat styling in the past that was natural oil based and those fried my hair, even though argan was supposed to be the best, back when I was using that I smelled it as I styled and saw the havoc it caused on my hair after a few uses. But not this one, this one is fantastic!
