Makes perfect circles
Excellent tool.

Great addition to toolbox
One of those items that most of us use very infrequently, but makes circle marking in woodworking or crafts so much easier than looking for the right sized lid, glass, etc. If you’re considering it, order it now and you will use it and be glad you had it.

junk
What a piece of crap. Tape is actually mounted upside down. center pin is included but way too small for hole. hole for number 2 pencil is way too big and plastic bolt is locked up on threads and would probably twist off if i used a wrench to tighten onto a pencil. Chinesium garbage.

Good Idea needs a little improvement.
This is a nice idea and is compact and pocket size versus other circle devices that are really rulers but has its flaws. It works the way it is described; however, the plastic screw that is supposed to hold the pencil is so tight that it doesn't move thereby leaving the pencil loose. Secondly, the center metal pointer will be very prone to getting lost. The product should have a way to store the pointer with the tape measure. Without the pointer it would be useless. I'm currently using a piece of duct tape to attach it to the tape measure.

Works well, should be cheaper.
For what it is, seems a bit over priced. Works well, though.

Easy to use
Very easy to use! I used it to cut circle veneers for a furniture restoration

Not the best for the job
Harder to use than you think and the “pin” is easy to lose. Id go back to the drawing board: make the pin clip in or have a top that keeps it with the roto tape AND use a metal screw for the pencil/marker as the plastic one is very hard to turn. I was disappointed but I guess you get what you pay for and I get duped every time.

This works awesome. Uses less space and is more versatile that big circle templates
I use this to layout circles in logs that I am going to chainsaw into blanks for my lathe. It allows me to set the depth to smallest edge of the log but yield the largest blank. Love it. I wish it had a holder built in for the pin you use to hold the center. If you loose it, you can just use a small nail.
