My old rotary cheese grater finally gave up the ghost — a small crack turned into a full-blown break, and that was that. I’ve always preferred the rotary-style handheld graters, they’re quick, easy, and most importantly, they save your knuckles from becoming part of the meal. After a bit of hunting around on Amazon, I came across the “Geedel Cheese Grater”, which comes with five interchangeable blades and a suction base designed to hold it firmly to the worktop. The reviews looked promising, and with a small voucher discount bringing the price to under £30, it seemed like excellent value. When it arrived (next day, thanks to Prime), my other half took one look and raised an eyebrow — it’s definitely larger than most manual graters, and she’s not usually a fan of change in the kitchen. But once I showed her how easily it assembled and how cleanly it worked, she was sold. Now, she’s the first one to reach for it whenever we’re cooking. The standard grater drum is what we use most often for cheese, and after a little experimenting, we’ve worked out that light pressure on the plunger gives you a fine, fluffy cheese (perfect for melting), while heavier pressure gives thicker, more solid shreds for salads and sandwiches. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in use. The other four blades (for slicing, shredding, and julienning) come neatly packed in two sturdy boxes, which is a great touch for storage — keeps them clean, safe, and ready when needed. In use, this thing is seriously impressive. The suction cup base locks down with a simple twist and doesn’t budge, even when grating harder ingredients. Because it’s so stable, you can work faster and with more control. The angled drum lets the food fall naturally from the chute, so it’s neat and tidy — no mess spraying across the counter. Cleaning is a breeze too. It disassembles in seconds, rinses clean easily, and the parts are solid and well made. The suction control lever on the side is smooth, firm, and surprisingly precise — you can really feel it grip the work surface. Honestly, this grater has completely replaced our old box and hand graters. It’s faster, safer, sturdier, and feels like something you’ll still be using years down the line. I have got several boxes full of useless kitchen gadgets that seemed like a good idea at the time. This grater will not be ending up in one of those boxes! It is absolutely brilliant! I’m getting on in years and struggle grating cheese and various vegetables because the old hands aren’t as nimble as they were in my youth. My worry is grating/ the ends of my fingers away together with the cheese. I’ve already lost the end of one index finger and intend to preserve the rest! This is the third grater I’ve bought in the past twelve months. It is so easy to use and clean. It grates/slices a hard cheddar and vegetables like carrots with ease. The suction base sticks like a limpet to the quartz work surface. It makes my life so much easier - and safer! A well made product that looks to have the build quality to stand the test of time. Highly recommended.

can get clogged up pretty fast with cheese, suction is good though, hasn’t broke and is used often. the different attachments are really handy

Sturdy construction, works well grating hard cheeses which was my primary reason for purchase. Easy to assemble and dis-assemble for washing which is also easy. Like the safety aspect of not grating my fingers too! Normally sticks well to the worktop but quick to reset when needed. The graters are sharp and work effortlessly, hopefully they will last a long time.

Excellent little grinder and chopper. Works really well with carrots, cucumber potatoes cheese. Garlic and ginger doesn’t work as well, it gets stuck around the barrel. Happy with the purchase and would highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE this grater!! In fact i love it so much i bought my parents and my brother one! Even hubby who never has an opinion about kitchen gadgets loves it too! So easy to use and good size. The suction cup on the bottom is ok but does move and release sometimes. Overall though, it's pretty sturdy and is a great product! Good value for money and will never go back to my old grater now. Really pleased!

Once I figured out how to stop the handle falling off it worked well on carrots, but cheese just got stuck inside and squished into a ball, which also made it hard to clean out. I won't be using it on cheese again, but it is still useful for the odd carrot.

I rulli si estraggono e tutta la struttura si pulisce in un attimo, nonostante le dimensioni. Consiglio il modello verde che da anche un tocco di colore alla cucina.

All drums cut reliably and run smoothly. It is a little fiddly to attach the crank to the rear end of the drum. To do this, a small "square pin" with the slider must first be countersunk on the crank, then the crank is placed on the drum. Only when the pin is exactly over the recess in the drum does it click into place by releasing the slide control. Remnants, e.g. apple peel (roughly grated), cheese slices (cut), get caught between the drum and the housing. Perhaps the pressure on the food simply needs to be increased. The crank must be released again with the slide control. All parts can be easily cleaned under water. The case is well made and has a smooth, dirt-repellent surface.

Ottima grattugia manuale . Facile da montare perché é molto intuitiva . Nella confezione oltre al foglio illustrativo ci sono 3 tipologie di grattugia:a fuori stretti, a fori larghi e medi.ottima nel grattugiare tutti i tipo di verdura e non solo...formaggi , ecc. La trovo comodissima soprattutto grazie alla ventosa sottostante che una volta attaccata su un piano difficilmente tende a staccarsi. Io consiglio un piano di marmo... facile da pulire sotto acqua corrente.la consiglio a tutti quelli che come me cercano cose pratiche e comode da utilizzare e soprattutto da lavare .

J’ai acheté ce produit il y a maintenant deux ans et deux ans après le produit est toujours en état de marche et de très bonne qualité. Je suis ravi d’avoir fait cette achat plutôt que de compter sur un appareil électronique ou électrique qui serait sûrement tombé en panne. Il est très facile d’utilisation et je m’en sers très régulièrement. Il est facilement lavables. Je ne trouve que des avantages
