Greatly enjoyed by my grandson
My 7 year old grandson (with a little help from his dad) managed to build this robot successfully. He has pretty much worked out how to program it too. He was so excited to receive this as his Christmas present! I was a bit worried as there were some fairly negative reviews but it is being enjoyed and there is an element of learning going on too! What more could you want!

Great present for coding enthusiasts
Bought for my nephew's birthday, although the item is aimed at 8 year olds i bought this for my 6 year old nephew and with some adult support in the building process he has really enjoyed it. He now independently plays with it.

Excellent gift for curious minds
Great gift for kids who like robotics and curious about how things are made and move. My son 7 year needed help making it but he has had no issues make it move, draw, pick up etc. We haven't tried to remote control yet.... having too much fun with the program setting .

Broke whilst assembling it
Bought as a birthday present for 8-year old. Very difficult to assemble even for an adult. Wires fall out of place easily and difficult to take bits of the robot apart to rectify, breaking various bits of plastic in process. Instructions not the easiest to follow. Eventually a wire snapped before we finished making it as the connections are quite flimsy. Not recommended unless you are skilled at fiddly electrical engineering.
