I am all thumbs when it comes to hairstyling, but have found that winding my hair up on these gives me the best waves/curls, depending on how long they stay in. Highly recommend; I get lots of compliments on the finished result.

Makes a lovely no-root tension bun. Quick and lovely. Will buy more. For sure I have medium density hair- just below the shoulder blades.

I had high hopes for the Styla Hair Black Magic Hair Bun Maker after seeing the tutorials online, but the reality is quite disappointing. The product is essentially a piece of cheap, foam wrapped around a wire. This product feels incredibly flimsy and not sturdy at all; it feels like it’s going to fall every time I use it. Your hair thickness & cut play a big role in whether the bun collapses and may require an embarrassing amount of bobby pins just to keep your hair style from unraveling soon after putting it on. It’s an easy concept to use in theory, but the poor, cheap foam construction makes the final result unreliable and a total waste of money. I can’t recommend this poorly made product.

I really like how sturdy and stiff they seem to be. I just wish they were a tiny bit longer and the ends tapered a little. And just beware, these are basically white lol but I have blue hair so it stained it to my color anyway.

Love these! I just put my hair in a pony tail and roll the hair starting from the end of the ponytail to the base of my head and close the foam piece (it has a wire inside) then I cover my hair around the foam so that you can't see it and use one bobby pin to make it stay put. It looks like a perfect bun every time and It looks professional. I'm very happy with my purchase.
