Extend the life of your transmission with the Mishimoto Heavy Duty Transmission Cooler Kit. It is made with 100% aluminum and is tube and fin constructed. The kit includes an 8-inch electric fan and mounting equipment for universal installation.

Review: Works and fits for the 5th Gen 4runner - I bought this a year ago and finally got around to installing it (3/28/25).....it came nicely packed and everything was there. I installed in my 2018 4runner because I was concerned about high temps coming from my transmission....this is mostly due to me off- roading at times. The fan blows VERY strong....and is quiet, which is nice. I would definitely recommend this. One thing to note is that you may have to reverse wires because initially, the blue wire is for positive but the fan pulls the air AWAY FROM the cooler. However, if you connect the blue wire to negative and the black wire to positive then you will have air flowing into the cooler (I know, its fkn confusing). No need to worry about things burning down because I contacted mishimoto and they confirmed (2 different representatives on 2 separate calls) that they designed it this way. Its up to the customer to decide which way they want the air to flow. This thing is nice and now I have peace of mind when I hit trails, or rock crawl or head up hills.

**Q: does this come with transmission lines 3/8 and 1/2 ?**
A: It comes with 3/8 hose fittings only

**Q: Can you change the fan direction it blows?**
A: No. You can not change the fan direction

**Q: How do I know that this is a Genuine Mishimoto cooler?**
A: unless Mishimoto are packaging fake parts? we buy from them!

**Q: Can this be used on a small 27hp kohler engine? Only takes 1 qt of oil... I have it in a skid steer so it gets hot quick..**

I bought this a year ago and finally got around to installing it (3/28/25).....it came nicely packed and everything was there.
