Just for Me No-Lye Conditioning Creme Relaxer Kit-Children's Super (1 APPLICATION)

This is the before and after pics . I used 2 boxes. I made a few mistakes should have had someone do the top while i do the bottom just because she has sooooo much hair. I lefted bottom on for about 15 minutes and top on for 10 minutes. I completely panicked in the middle of application. I should have lefted top on for 15 min or more too. I started in back but should have probably started top and middle of head first. Make sure to pull product all the way through to end of hair. Ends of hair seem to take longer to process than roots. I bought extra neutralizing shampoo cause i wanted to make sure i got all the product out. Overall im super happy i did this relaxer. Hair is much easier to manage and she loves her straighter hair. I felt such guilt doing this which is why i panic in the middle of the process but it was the right decision for me and her because it was too painful for her before the relaxer. She is 8. Super long review but hopefully this helps someone in their hair journey.

Getting hard to find this product where I live. It was received in great condition. I use it a couple times per year and it’s not damaging like some others. It has an odor that stays in your hair for a couple of washes but it does what it’s intended to do.

Product is not meant for soft curls, much less for children. It's too strong. I used it exactly as indicated, to include the final leave-on cream and it left my hair stiff and lifeless. I had to apply a hair mask of olive oil, honey, egg and avocado every three days for over a week before I saw a hint of shine back. I do not recommend this product if you just want to relax your curls a little.

I have 3B hair, I’m biracial and have very fine curls. I have multi textured hair with very tight curls near my neck and I had to do that part twice in the same week because those curls were so tight. It worked ok for that part but actually wore off after about a week and my curls were really tight again. Note that the back near my neck never gets dyed so it’s stronger than the rest of my head which I dye. Then a few weeks later I wanted all my curls to be toned down and looser so I used it all over my head-that was a mistake because my hair is so fine and I dye it due to grays. Chunks of hair were literally falling off when I started rinsing it out and I left it on for about 7 minutes (because when I previously did the back near my neck, it took a long time to loosen and needed done twice). I lost about 3/4 of my hair! It looks like it just burned off. I would have completely freaked out but I have Jesus, so I’m good. But wow, I’m just grateful that I’m not completely bald. So please be careful with this because it can be harsh depending on the state of your hair. I probably should have left it in for only 2-3 minutes because the rinsing time still adds on processing time to the hair until the product is out. Be blessed!

It did nothing for my hair

I feel so horrible that I put this on my child’s hair. I won’t again. The relaxer is very hard to wash out. I had to wash 4 times. It make her hair manageable because it’s super thick and hurts to comb. Also I decided to Google this product and it says “can” cause cancer. Do your own research before using relaxers. I won’t do it again.
